Comfortable and clean, free breakfast good. Quiet room.Pool and spa lovely and warm for this time of year. Can walk to fast food and supermarkets. Excellent value. Would recommend and a ten minute drive to Solvang. Would stay again for sure.
Dirty, & rundown…won’t be back. The restaurant next door, where we were looking forward to enjoying some of their world famous pea soup was so rundown, we walked in & immediately turned around & walked out. It looked like a haunted house. Very sad…
Stayed here three days while visiting Solvang. Room was large and comfortable with everything you would need. Fridge, coffee pot, large closet and bathroom, comfortable beds. It's close to everything and of course there restaurant is right next door. Check in was very fast and efficient. Only detractors were you couldn't smoke on your balcony. Only on some benches on the side of the property. There was a mariachi band playing until late Saturday night just on the other side of the fence at the rear of the building. Didn't bother me much but some friends who had a room in the back were not happy about it. Also there's a jacuzzi but young children were constantly using it as a mini pool. Altogether this is a nice place to stay and I will return. Just keeping in mind the few detractors. …
Was here in 2019 and stayed again July 2022. Forgot how accommodating this place is. Like a motel you park outside your room. From the room however you look out over the inner courtyard with the pool, breakfast pavilion and putting green. Rooms were surprisingly new, fresh and clean. Furnishing won’t win any design awards but is in just as good condition as the fixtures.
If you are handicapped or if carrying your luggage up a flight of stairs is difficult, you need to mention this so that they give you a first-floor room. We managed. It was a comfortable sleep, then we were awoken by a child running and screaming along the outdoor hallway at 7:30 a.m. There are signs outside indicating "Quiet Times" These are not enforced. Don't know if I would stay again.
Stayed with a friend and loved it! Super clean and every room has a balcony or porch to sit and relax. The hotel has a pool and jacuzzi. The jacuzzi had a signup sheet for use that filled up quickly. The hotel also had a putting green, corn hole boards for guest use. Complimentary breakfast each morning in the gazebo from a local bakery. The price was about $90 a night. We loved our stay!
This place never changes! The decor and menu are exactly what you expect, even the option to get a milkshake with your soup order! Yes, that sounds odd, but it really works. Service was good, prices reasonable, a good place for lunch or dinner.
Despite putting the privacy sign on my door, the maid came into my room while I was out. I spoke with the front desk person who was unapologetic and just said, "Yes, all of housekeepers clean the rooms everyday, regardless." I spoke with the manager the next day who was more apologetic, and assured it wouldn't happen again, but it did. Do yourself a favor and book elsewhere.
When we arrived at this hotel it look old from the outside and we were not sure about staying here. However, it was the best surprise! Modern and clean. Comfortable bed and linens. Yummy pastries and coffee in the A.M. Praises go out to the manager and housekeeping staff for this delightful stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling this way.
Pea Soup Andersen’s Inn provided a quiet, clean, comfortable place for our family of 5 to spend the night. With a Roll-away bed we fit i to a double Queen room and the room had a tv, coffeemaker, fridge, microwave, desk, etc. etc. Everything we needed. Beds were super comfortable - even the rollaway was good quality. The room was very clean and the breakfast was ‘grab n go’ style w real Danishes, muffins, juice, and coffee. We stayed off season for $110 in total. Great value price and we are very happy!!
