I stayed at this Doubletree Hotel on a business trip, and I had a good stay. The view from the room was pretty nice as it showcased the marina. For an airport hotel, this Doubletree was pretty standard as it had outdated furniture and is more of just a place to stay if you need to be near the airport. The restaurant was okay and the salmon I ordered was pretty good, but a bit pricey. I did have an issue with my folio and being charged incorrectly , but the front desk staff was able to help me out and fix my issue. Diane the manager was extremely kind and friendly and provided me great customer service! She was one of the nicest managers I have spoken with. David and Philip from the front desk were also very friendly and provided great customer service as they helped me with everything I needed within my check in and check out process. We needed a stay in San Francisco that's near the airport area and a room that fits us all. Embassy suites was the choice. The room was spacious, 2 double beds and a sleeping sofa in a separate living room. Hot breakfast was good. The only thing I didn't like was the charge for parking ($37).

We had an early flight and just needed a place to crash. Check in had a line and it moved quickly. The only reason I wanted to check in in person was to get my cookie. They had run out! Devastated. The restaurant/bar looked lively, but I needed sleep. Fell asleep quickly. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. At about midnight I was woken up by a rap concert in the room next to me. It sounded wild. I didn’t want to talk to anyone so I put my earplugs in and took an ambien. I think these cheap airport hotels are party hotels.

Although we had reserved a suite for 3 guests, the room was only set up for two and we had to request supplies to accommodate us. There were no linens, blankets or pillows for the pull out sofa which we also had to request. Worst of all, the sofa pulled out in front of the exit door. Consider this a serious safety hazard which has been reported to the local fire marshall.

At 1 a.m. I awoke to a terrible itching on several areas of my body. I went to the bathroom and turned on the light. I was shocked to discover large unusual "line-shaped" bites on multiple areas of my body (photos) attached. I ruled out an allergic reaction as these were on the side that I sleep on, and even though the itching was still bad it wasn't as bad as when I was in the bed. I took photos of my bites that were in areas I didn't want to expose to strangers got dressed and went downstairs to the front desk. I showed the staff, who reassigned me to a room on another floor. Of course, it was impossible to sleep after that so I worked and watched T.V. Until the morning. I went down again to the front desk to talk to the manager (Diane) who was super apologetic, she gets an A+ for how to appease a paying customer who experienced such a traumatic event on their property. Unfortunately, she then had me talk to her GM (Gustavo) I could tell straight away this man probably hates his job and correspondingly had zero customer service skills. Despite his staff seeing my bites, my photos of the bites, not getting any sleep in a room I PAID for, and despite being a loyal Hilton Honors member, he wanted some other proof from a vendor they were going to hire to tell them whether or not they had bedbugs. Now I know this hotel responds to their trip advisor reviews, and they will likely respond as they did in a previous bedbug review a few years ago and "claim" that their outside vendor revealed no "activity" in room 625. Frankly, since they seem to think the bites on my body were caused by phantom bedbugs I don't care what the report says from a vendor that they paid, the day a large corporation truthfully admits liability would be a good day in the world. Instead, the GM (Gustavo) offered me a free breakfast for my troubles, trauma, violation of bites on my body on their property, and lack of use of a room I paid for.…

This property is quite dated. It in the middle of a biotech area which could be handy if doing business in that area. Otherwise there is no dining nearby in walking distance and the dining room is only open for dinner so I was glad I carried some airplane chips with me. Used the pool for exercise and it was adequate. One plus was the nearby Bay Trail. I found it in my All Trails app and it was right outside the hotel and and had signage and information abut the history of the area and some nature along the way. Got in some mileage on it. It was good for my early morning departure flight . Room was comfortable. It is just far from anything unless you like to walk a couple of miles. My room had a freeway view. Apropos for California I guess. Front desk people and restaurant people were nice.…

Arrived at 2 AM due to flight delays. We only had one night stay SFO and would be heading down to Southern California. Decided to ask for a late check out to get some sleep. We were given only a half hour extra time. No restaurant on site. Very limited shuttle service. Only a few hours during morning and afternoon.

The rooms were clean, spacious, and quiet, despite the hotel’s proximity to the airport. Manager Diane at the front desk made us feel welcome and valued. Her friendly helpfulness raised the bar for what we’ve come to expect not only from Hilton hotels but from hotel service generally. She’s a pure gem, that one. Doubletree hotels—and this one in particular—will be our go-to home away from home on our next trip. Our needs were well met and the rate suited us to a double T. Thanks again, Diane! Room was awesome, very clean and met my expectations perfectly. Staff, especially Jamal Brooks, was such a pleasure to deal with, very helpful and put up with my grandsons shenanigans. Food was amazing as well, server helpful and on point. As an employee if Hilton, I was very impressed and would definitely stay again. 10/10 would recommend!!! Hotel was good, room was comfortable and clean. I booked this hotel because they advertise shuttle service to and from the airport. My flight was delayed and I arrived late, when I called for the shuttle they stated that it was not available. The next day when I checked out about noon, the front desk advised that there was limited shuttle service due to COVID restart and the shuttle service was not available. I spent an extra $60 for transportation that was advertised as included with my stay. Please be aware if staying at this location.
