..no housekeeping for our 3 night stay! really? ..this is a resort and spa. There is no spa, no hot tub, no towels poolside as advertised on website...fitness room closed...golf course gone...and yet we are paying $13/day resort fees...for what? ..restaurant unavailable for breakfast outside due to a private function Pretty disappointing place. Will not be back and do not recommend. Website inaccurate and out of date

I am sorry to hear we didn't meet your expectations. As far as facilities and any services not available due to Covid-19 county guidelines, we again apologize if it was not communicated but the safety of our guests and our associates in these difficult times is our priority. We strive to provide everyone with excellent service. Due to restrictions we now have limited capacity in our restaurants. Please feel free to reach out to me so we can discuss in further.

Stayed over on a midweek visit on my way to see family down the road. Check in was easy and efficient, with COVID protocols enforced. Room was sparklingly clean and the grounds were also well maintained. Pool was only amenity open, as expected, and stay was very pleasurable.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Borrego Springs Resort. While we came to Anza Borrego to hike and see wildflowers, we were very happy to finish our day at the Resort. Our room was large, well appointed and very comfortable; and we especially liked sitting in the Jacuzzi under the stars at night. The staff was both cheerful and helpful. After excellent sleep, we were ready each day to explore more of the Park.

The good: The rooms are large and clean. Check in was quick and efficient. The bad: Terms and conditions changed between booking the hotel and check-in. Cancellation policy and included breakfast changed. In the future I'll will need to print out the booking to prove the conditions at time of booking. The 'resort' is in an area which is in deep decline and has much the same feeling as the establishments near the Salton Sea might have had 30 years ago. The surrounding area has roads which exist on paper only, or are overgrown and unused. The golf course is closed. Only a fraction of the residential sections have been developed. This hotel is very overpriced for what you get. The 'resort fee' is bait and switch at best. I will not consider staying there again.

Thank you for your review and feedback. We always want to hear from our guests, good or bad feedback. Our cancellation terms have been the same for 23 years. We do offer breakfast at our restaurant and always provide coffee at our lobby in the mornings. We apologize for any miscommunication.

We made our reservations before we knew the golf course had closed so the name is not an accurate reflection of the property any more and it was one of the main reasons we booked there. The rooms are adequate and comfortable, but quite dated. We thought it was a fully equipped kitchen, but not. The restaurant is just OK and has a bit of a stale odor to it. The pool is not heated or at least not much. The spa is fine. I would not classify this as a BW Premier Collection property.
