Actually, very nice place to stay. Large room and kitchenette. Clean and very good service, especially at front desk. Rooms needed a bit of updating. A bit pricy. Very convenient to all the activities. Nice and quiet. Saw great sunset on one night, actually spectacular. Modest breakfast included but adequate.

This was the only motel available the week I went during the Super Bloom. I obtained the room thanks to a cancellation. At $140 a night, I thought it was overpriced, yet I felt lucky to have a bed and roof over my head. The bed had a multicolored bedspread and not like the modern places who usually have a...

Affordable. Clean. Quiet. Comfortable. Vintage vibe. Non-smoking. Flat screen tv and cable. Free Wi-Fi. Immaculate landscaping. Obviously well taken care of. Free continental breakfast. In-room microwave, refrigerator and stove top. Private patio. A lovely looking pool area with BBQ. And a friendly and helpful inn-keeper, Al. What more could you ask for?

Stanlunds Inn & Suites is a funky 1960's motel just south of Christmas Circle. We always try to stay here when we visit Borrego Springs. Not a fancy place, but clean, great location, and well-priced. They even have a pool and continental breakfast during the "season". Pet-friendly, too! Great place!

Yes, the is a motel with fairly ancient decor and yes the bathroom is very hot compared to the bedroom with the a/c cranking but honestly, it was clean and in order. Maybe it wasn't the nicest looking place but a budget hotel in Hades is probably difficult and expensive to maintain. If I wanted a very nice place with...

There are fancier and more expensive places to stay in Borrego Springs, but I love Stanlunds because it is very affordable, quiet, has a great pool, has suites with kitchens, and the manager, Al, is very attentive and responsive. I have stayed three times there, and each time have been treated as an honored guest. I like to go in...

If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel this is it. I need a place to stay near Palm Springs and this hotel worked. It is an old 1950's style Motel, that is well maintained. The rooms are large and clean. Call ahead so the staff can turn on the air so your room is cooler.

It was a very hot day. 117 in the shade. By the time I got to the pool shortly after arriving I was able to cool off. The bed was the most comfortable one I have slept in in a very long time. The room was clean and everything was how it was advertised.

We went to Anza Borrego for sightseeing and to take our Jeep onto dirt roads. Anza Borrego has many such roads/washes and is beautiful. We also went to see the Salton Sea. We wanted a convenient place to spend the night without having to haul all of the camping gear and we were able to get a room for one...

My husband and I stayed here for one night on a visit to see the wild flowers, do a little hiking and buy some grapefruit. We stayed in a King Deluxe room which had the front patio with a fire pit. We only used the kitchen to store some water in the frig., but it looked clean. It is true...
