Detailed Reviews
This was a great trip to help break out of the CVID stay at home funk. Always wanted to go to this area and this is a great RV park , it does have a golf course which looked great but I am not a golfer. Staff was great reservations easy online and check in was easy and site #209 was ready with a packet for us on arrival, sites are large and very clean and neat all have tables and all are concrete pads That are very level. Staff and camp hosts are very friendly and camp hosts were able to give us good places to go and sightsee and you must check out all the metal sculptures in the desert. Lots places to ride bikes in the RV park and they have bike paths on the road into Borrego Springs . Great night sky viewing and lots of hiking trails just be sure when you venture out in the hot weather to take lots of water .We will go back again

No wifi
No consistent cell coverage
No cable - they supposedly switched to all digital cable which means if you don’t have a smart tv you’re out of luck!
They refused to honor Good Sam, AAA or AARP the day after check in. Said I was too late! Had to be asked for at check in! Bad customer service.
Did like trash pick up at site and will also refill your propane tank and deliver to your site.

This place is not for young families. They were too many snow birds and they were so rude. They would call the camp host or front desk if more than 15 people were at the pool. If your site had music playing, etc. We will never come to this place again.

This is undoubtedly a beautiful park but, there are a few things we didn’t like. First being, on any given day it is like musical chairs with the RV’s moving from one spot to another. We monitored three sites around us and for the reasons they had these sites change from one to another made no sense at all. We had one neighbor that had been there for a month, were moved once, and then with other sites available were made to move two days before they were to leave. The rig that took their spot was in it for those two days and also left. There were other sites just as nice! Makes no sense at all. This was happening daily. We were there for 6 weeks and had to move once.
Second being, golf. They do not want to sell you 18 holes. If your t-time is 8:00 or so and you asked to play 18 they claim when you make the turn the course is full. I never saw it full. $40.00 for 9, $55.00 for 18, you figure it out.
Third being the pool area needs to cleaned up and the spas need to be hot. Very disappointing to walk all the way over to the pool area to use a spa and it’s not hot. Also, a few of them, I would not get into, very filthy.
Outside of these things, I would return with some understanding that I am not moving my rig, if I want 18 holes of golf I want that, and the pool area and spas need to be working and clean. If you’re paying the money you can require what they claim to be as true. If not, there are a lot of other parks to go stay at.

We have been going here for the past 6 years and have had a great time .We recently experienced the new owners/ management and camp host from hell . I hadn’t even un hooked my trailer and was approached by the camp hosts telling me what I can and can’t do . Do not go here unless you want to be constantly watched over and your kids followed around by bitter , bored and miserable camp host on golf carts watching them like prison guards. We will be finding another place to spend our time . The manager and camp hosts were completely out of touch with reality this was the consensus with several people around me that I have never met before. Do not come here if you are under 65 and definitely do not bring kids here or go just want to have fun because you will regret it. BTW the so called mineral spas are just old jacuzzis with chipped up plaster , gallons of chlorine doesn’t not count as minerals.

We would go out of our way to stay here again. So clean, nice folks and great facilities: hot tubs, pool,
and fine sites. We stayed a few nights in the hook up sites then we moved to dry site but still had access to pool, hot tubs and showers. Everything COVID conscious and hyper clean.

This is an amazing park. The spaces are large with big sandy planters between them. Many spaces are staggered which increases privacy. The fairway spaces are sublime! The grounds are immaculately maintained. Strolling through the park one walks along ponds teaming with fish, tennis and pickleball courts, a large clubhouse and a grassy dog park. We are not golfers, but many campers seem to enjoy the course. We have stayed several times and still find a lot to do in the largest state park in California and of course there are the hundreds of huge iron art sculptures that surround the town. There are a few nice restaurants nearby, but we enjoyed just barbecuing at our coach. Almost every evening most campers seemed to be enjoying the weather by sitting outside and visiting. The springtime tends to be booked up, but we find the fall weather and lighter occupancy to be great.

This RV park in sleepy Borrego Springs is our new found winter getaway. Clean and well maintained park is a big draw, but so is the Anza-Borrego desert state park. Golf, pickleball, water aerobics and tennis are just a few goodies to enjoy.Chill at the pool or hike numerous local trails will keep you as occupied as much as you like...or not. Check out local visitor center and you will be amazed what the desert has to offer. Friendly neighbors and friendly staff made our stay a hoot!

+1
This was our first time at the resort. The park is beautiful and well maintained, including the golf course. Jeff, the camp host was friendly, helpful, knowledgeable about the area and very accessible. Amenities included a beautiful golf course with excellent greens, pool area, clubhouse, cable tv, full hookups, and trash service. Sites are large, with concrete pads, and well maintained. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and can’t wait to come back.
