I travel along the coast often and have found that most of the accommodations are a bit rustic, it's just what you get in the area. I'm sure the upscale resorts are nicer, but if you are just passing through and staying the night this place will be more than ok. I was traveling on a busy week and there... More

I had a nice room overlooking the Bay. It is a modest hotel with delightful staff...and as mentioned, an amazing aroma emanating from the breakfast room. It is homey in furniture. The only thing I would add would be an additional blanket as coastal nights can get chilly. Otherwise a nice place, close to the water and things to do... More

For $169, a basic room. Nice view, a little overpriced. Tired, worn down property with nice and friendly staff. An upgrade of carpets, fixtures, linens, etc and it would be spectacular. Room had the basics; flat screen, microwave, coffee maker, fridge. An overnight road trip stay. Very passable for an overnight stay, though not very clean, (coffee pot was dirty!)

Very nice room. Frig & microwave very convenient. Really enjoyed bringing our dogs along. Just across Hwy 1 a nice trail that leads to Doran Beach. Good restaurants within walking distance that are dog friendly. Fireplace in the room was very cozy Could have used more than one log. The breakfast downstairs was nice with fresh waffles, fruit, & cereals.... More

Our family of five stayed in a two room suite for two nights. This was the most affordable hotel I could find in the area, that could accommodate five people, and I was nervous based on the mixed reviews. But, everything was clean and well maintained, and our rooms seemed to have been updated based on previous reviews and photos.... More

We were looking for a spot not far from Point Reyes and “The Birds” movie history enticed us to stay in Bodega Bay. It’s a sleepy little sea-side town full of character. The hotel was a bit worn around the edges, but fine for one night. It was definitely over-priced for what it was. The stairways around the hotel could... More

We came without a reservation, and just got a basic room. We still had a balcony with a great view. The jacuzzi looked wonderful, but we weren't there long enough to try it. I think Edward Scissorhands works here. There were many artfully sculpted bushes. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Basic continental breakfast... More

Our king sized room was large and the view of the bay was nice but this place needs to be renovated. There were tears in the upholstery of the chair and ottoman and some water logged drywall in the bathroom. We got there at 6:00pm and the room was hot so we opened the balcony door and windows. We needed... More

Second trip to Bodega Bay. Very friendly staff at check-in. We paid $200 per night for Room 41. We walked in and we're pleased at first. Our room had laminate floors instead of carpet however floors were dirty. Bed was not very comfortable. Also it looks as if our ceiling was just repaired from water damage. Bathroom was updated but... More

The only reason we decided to stay here is because they allow dogs to stay with us. They charge $30 for dogs to stay in the room which is an average price. Unfortunately we found so many hairs on the bed which was very disappointing if you are paying $250 for a night. The hair dryer had also many different... More
