it is a pleasant place close to a beautiful sandy beach on the ocean, the tent spots are spacious and you have a lot of space to accommodate all your staff. You can access the bay within hundred yards,
We stayed at sites 24 and 26 - very large together (like the size of a basketball field). The area is well shaded with trees. It has fire pits, food lockers and picnic tables. It is very close to the camp host and restrooms. The campground is very well maintained. I have seen people cleaning it everyday and sometimes twice a day leaving the restrooms sparkly clean. They supposed to have hot showers operated by tokens. Some people of our group did enjoy it and sometimes it is free. I am not so lucky. The shower was just cold when I used it. But that is ok. The pressure is very good. You feel like you are under a waterfall. We enjoy the campground as well as the nearby attractions: Doran Beach, Westside Regional Park, Jenner and Bodega Head and its nearby trail.
Been coming here for years and have to say supervision has gone down hill its like a free for all people parking on the grass as well as huge groups over 8 in one site cars parked in the road tents in other sites what is going on and loud people till after midnight
There are upper and lower camp sections ether the upper being furthest from the ocean but also the quieter of the two. Many spaces are quite large. The bathrooms were clean. Showers take tokens. Overall a nice campground.
We weren't expecting the upper 50s to low 60s in August as a high. Dress warm cause the wind blows hard also. Campsites are large. Great campers around us. Quite. Loved the beach. Showers not the best.
