We arrived at the Inn on a rainy day, just stayed over one night before we headed out for a wine tasting weekend. I knew from the beginning that the Inn is an older property. Check in staff were helpful. Our room: the view was fantastic... sunrise was so enjoyable. Wake up early enough and you can watch the fishing... More

I love the Inn at the Tides for both hotel & their food! We have stayed there on & off over the years and I would not stay anyway else. The rooms are warm, comfy and inviting and just knowing that the ocean is right there makes it even more inviting! The beds are comfortable and the staff is always... More

Probably the biggest surprise of our trip. This beautiful hotel is made up of a collection of cabin style buildings, each containing four rooms, dotted about a wooded hillside overlooking the picturesque Bodega Bay. There is a hot tub and outdoor pool on site. There is also an Italian restaurant. Across the road is the Tides shopping and restaurant area,... More

We stayed for one night in January. The view in the afternoon is really gorgeous. You can sit out on the "porch" in the 3 chairs provided and enjoy some wine. BYOB folks, they provide a bottle of chardonnay and there is no mini fridge however they do have an ice machine. The room seemed clean, the TV worked well... More

We were there for a New Year's Party - have to say the food and service were excellent - staff was friendly and upbeat EXCEPT for the manager and bar tender. One of our party fell ill, not sure if it was food poisoning or not. We noticed that the bartender was not washing the glassware properly - was washing... More

We stayed at this hotel for 3 wintery, rainy nights. Our room was large (2 queens), no fireplace, small fridge, bathroom with tub, desk, table/2 chairs, Windows all along sea view side with a small balcony overlooking a garden and a little sea view. Beds were comfy, restaurant was good, gas station out front, good location. We wanted to stay... More

Inn is old and rooms need serious updating. Thought we qualified for lower rate however we were told it was too soon. Husband forgot his bathing suit in bathroom. Made many calls but was told they would check with Housekeeping. Gave up calling. Not sure we will travel 4 hours again to stay here.

We paid $250 for a standard king room. Pluses: bottle of wine upon arrival, fireplace with two duraflame logs, free breakfast at the restaurant (choice of about 10 different things with a great view of the water)! Minuses: horrific smell in hotel room. We actually had to buy a scented candle as the room smelled like death. Not really a... More

Well what looked like an ideal location was not. Hotel is very outdated. Offers wine upon checkin, however the wine is sitting on he mantle warm. I guess I expected a cold bottle. Grounds are nice and location is wonderful. We were able to walk to a wine tasting venue for evening cocktails. The consent beep in the bay prevented... More

What a beautiful stay on the Bay. Ask for Rooms with fireplace & renew your romance life. The rooms are comfy and clean; they even provide robes to walk to the Sauna or pool. Views of the Bay abound. During crab season this is the place to stay while enjoying all you can eat feast. We always look forward to... More
