Absolute wonderful experience! Chefs John and Steve were amazing; the appetizers, salmon and steaks were delicious, the wine John suggested paired perfectly, and the presentation was beautiful. The manager,(name was Paul?? Apologies if I misremembered his name) chatted with us and he was so charming! Gorgeous setting and great ambiance. I’ll remember this evening forever. Highly recommend!

We 3 couples traveled here for 3 nights over July 4. The property is self-contained with attractive comfortable rooms, a nice walking path, restaurant, and many places to sit and relax. One night we had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was very good. The staff was wonderful, recommending hikes, restaurants, and things to do. There is NO cellphone reception (at the hotel and most of the nearby area) and WiFi in the room was iffy. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Our enthusiasm for the location and the hotel were quickly dampened by the poor condition of the hotel. Our room had a number of problems including broken windows, leaking toilet, missing light bulbs, cobwebs, wrong sized bed sheets and a general appearance of long deferred maintenance. Our free breakfast was absolutely dismal for a “luxury resort”, boxed cereal and packaged yogurt! The deferred maintenance was also apparent throughout the property and included the spa area, overgrown gardens, and faded outdoor furniture. Hopefully the new owners will invest some money into this property so it could meet its Luxury Resort billing.

We came here when we first married, and then...now We celebrated our 8 year anniversary and what a way to celebrate. We had a warm welcome by the staff, a couples massage, breakfast, most tasty dinner and we are not drinkers of wine or alcohol and they accommodated us with bottles of 100% grape juice which was delicious. See ya'll soon.

Great hidden gem close to a lot of the areas tourist destinations - dillan beach, bodega Bay itself, and the Sonoma coast vineyard to name a few. Very picturesque drive! Had a lovely large villa set way back on the property. as I was traveling alone, Alex at the front desk graciously escorted me back to my room during my stay if I got back after dark. Additionally, on my last morning there, I saw a spider on the ceiling (I’m terrified of spiders) but Alex came in to get rid of it and was super great about it. The restaurant was closed for dinner during my stay (they are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) but I was able to catch breakfast in the AM. They had a Small but good selection of breakfast items. Complimentary wine hour (4:30-5:30) was great and a good opportunity to promote local wineries and meet fellow vacationers. Looking forward to the updates to the property and keep up the excellent customer service!
