By far the best hotel, casino, and selection of restaurants on the north coast. Sushi Blue is the best sushi I've found in NorCal with an unique selection of food and rolls and a helpful caring staff, sage the host is always friendly and will accommodate your needs. Hotel staff works hard to provide a clean quiet and fun atmosphere to stay in. Trust me you won't be disappointed.

Staying at the Blue Lake hotel/casino was very relaxing. First, the hotel. It was very clean and the rooms large and modern. Generally, the location is very quiet. The bed I had was a king that was extremely comfortable. The room is equipped with a small fridge and of course TV, modern charging ports for electronics and cell phones are located next to the bed. The bathroom and shower were also very clean and modern. Shampoo, conditioner, skin cream and hand soap are in cradles that are easy to access. The casino is small, but also very clean and is no smoking. The usual assortment of slots and games as well as table games are available. The restaurant in house is one of two. One is called Alice's restaurant and the other The Wave sushi bar. There's also a regular bar too. The resturant food is available breakfast, lunch and dinner. I'd give Alice's 3 out of 5 stars You can order from a limited menu such items as burgers, chicken sandwiches, appetizers, salads and soups. A chicken picata they serve is very good. Can't judge the sushi restaurant since I didn't eat there. Walking to the two restaurants is fast and easy via a short connecting hallway between the casino and the hotel. Bottom line, my experience at the Blue Lake Hotel and Casino was exceptional. I recommend it highly. By the way, the front desk staff were extremely helpful and very friendly people which always starts off a stay right.

Beautiful newly renovated hotel. Easy check in, great service and very clean. Traveling as a single woman I felt safe and comfortable. The team is amazing and helpful. The casino has a good variety of restaurants and every restaurant I ate at was very good, reasonably priced with big portions.

I am staying here right now. I just called the front desk at 1:30 a.m. to try and resolve an issue of ten drunk people outside our door having a party. Security came up and let them still hang out. I had to call two more times. All the while EMT's are trying to get in a room next door because one of their party friends is unresponsive. Security confirmed some of the people are not even staying here. I called down a fourth time and the security officer knocks on my door and yells at me for calling the front desk and says he will implement a 24-hour exclusion. What the hell is that? I will be speaking with the management in the morning. The wannabe security guard cannot even control his own emotions. The last guy I want handling security at my hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE! PERIOD!

We decided last minute to drive down from WA state to Southern CA due to Covid concerns and through a Hotwire deal booked this hotel. We were there only for a night. The hotel entrance was separated from the casino entrance. There was a temperature check station upon entering the lobby. The room was huge and clean which was very important! I was comfortable with their cleaning protocols. They vacuum sealed the bath amenities and the sets of towels in plastic which was reassuring. The beds were clean and comfy. There was plenty of desk space for the kids to set up their computers to do some online school (thank you for the complimentary WiFi). If we make our way in that area again we will definitely stay again.

The good, bad, and ugly The good: good customer service, large somewhat clean rooms that include coffee maker, fridge, and quality bathroom supplies. Convenient access to the casino, 24 hour gas station and convenience store. The bad: no daily housekeeping, nowhere to eat breakfast (they serve coffee, a few packaged pastries, a few yogurts, a couple of apples and oranges in the lobby). The ugly: I found bacon bits under the pillow sheet when I was going to bed as per pictures. Analysis: This could easily be a 4 star with daily housekeeping , good house keepers, and breakfast options within walking distance.

Everything about the stay from start from finish was excellent. Nathaly and Deena were very welcoming and professional, making sure my stay was great. The room was spotless, the bed super comfortable and I appreciated the coffee maker (and creamer in the fridge!) after a long day. I would stay there again in a heartbeat!!!! The 777 gas station also onsite was well stocked for last-minute needs like aspirin and toothpaste, and the staff was friendly too! Great prices for gas, BTW so check it out if you're on your way through.

I booked a junior suite and the room was very spacious and clean. The hotel staff was friendly. My only criticisms are 1. The coffee place doesn’t open until 2pm outside of M-W if you want an espresso drink. 2. The junior suite shower is a huge step over and into the jetted tub. 3. Reservations are a must for Sushi Blue and the front desk doesn’t always show the same information in their system regarding availability. Other than these things, I really enjoyed my stay.

Drove over from Redding for a few days to get out of the heat.Hotel is easy access from Hwy 299 and plenty of parking.Loved the room and Pool/Hot Tub.Staff was very professional----everyone from Janitor/House Keeping /Front Desk! Only thing I would like to see is easy access to coffee in the morning------free coffee in the Lounge or Casino Cafe for Hotel Guests?? Hotel is great point of day trips to Eureka/Arcata/Trinidad.Our family will definitely return on our next trip to the coast from Redding area.

Under the agreement the tribe has with the state of California to operate the casino, the casino is not allowed to provide complimentary alcohol.
