Rooms were very nice and spacious. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Great location with snow caped mountains in the background. An Ideal place if need a less expensive option then the prices you would pay in Mammoth. Only a 40 minute drive from Mammoth Ski

I’ve been working in Bishop for a month now and I appreciate the friendliness of staff and the clean rooms. Not to fond of the health and beauty supplies but I bring my own. Half way through the stay I noticed they changed the type of breakfast sausage they used. They changed

Has the bed bug issue been resolved yet?
Our guest's safety and security is our number one concern at our hotel. We have preventative measures in place with our entire staff to detect bed bugs and we also have preventative service from a pest control company on a regular basis. We hope you enjoy your vacation.

Are there any good hiking trails close by - about 3-4 mile hike while in Bishop?
There are plenty of places to hike, but you may want to drive to get to a nice area at higher elevation.

We would like to find a hiking trail close by - for a 3 to 4 mile hike while in Bishop. Anyone know??
I lived in Bishop for 33 years and hiked about everywhere in the surrounding mountains. The easiest hike is up the canyon out of Tom's place. There are a lot of trails up Bishop Creek.. A good one (moderate) is up toward Piute Pass out of North Lake. Any of the trails out of Sabrina or South lake are great - but some quite difficult for beginners. Big Pine Canyon has some of the best in the area, but be prepared for a grunt. Don't drink out of the creeks or lakes, too many people using them. Take water with you everywhere.

"Toward the back because of the road noise"
"Our end room on a top floor was quiet"
"If you want a really quiet room ask for one in the back."
"I stayed in room #104 both times. Parked right outside my room door. Close to the lobby & breakfast area but removed from the pool."
"We requested the back building away from the road & downstairs is good since there is not an elevator."
