We have stayed in many hotels over the past 30 years. This hotel is at the top of the list for service, cleanliness and comfort. The location and facilities are terrific. If you stay in Bishop this is the only place to stay.
Melissa, the front desk check in lady, was extremely helpful with our needs. She helped us located a room on short notice, when we extended our stay an additional day. We highly recommend the Creekside Inn. Beautiful views, clean and fresh rooms and grounds
Our stay at the Creekside Inn was very enjoyable and accommodating. From the moment we checked in, Melissa the front desk gal ensured we were taken care of. Melissa was very kind, professional, and hospitable. My wife and I loved the decor, the beautiful artwork throughout, and the surrounding foliage and trees made it seem like we were in a beautiful forest. This will be our first choice in the future when staying in Bishop!
Our family has been staying at the Creekside Inn for years, and we have always appreciated the updated rooms and cleanliness of the facility. This summer we were in Bishop hosting a memorial and celebration of life for my mother. I want to highlight a staff member who went above and beyond to provide service, care and empathy during a challenging time for me. Claudia answered the phone when I called to book the rooms for my family, my sister and her husband and my father. She took the time to ask questions and find out why would be visiting in July. She made sure our rooms were close together and that we didn't have to change rooms mid-stay. Most importantly, she asked questions about my mom and made me feel like she really cared about us. Upon arrival, we had cookies and a note of condolences left in each of our rooms. I know this was the work of Claudia, and her thoughtfulness. When she was on shift, she was incredibly helpful, and when she would have a moment she would offer words of condolences, ask if we needed anything for the arrangements, and demonstrated genuine empathy. A few days ago, I received a thank you card from her. Imagine my surprise after all she did for us!!!! These extra steps she takes to build relationships with the guests and make them feel welcome make her such an asset to the Creekside Inn! I know several of our family members were staying there as well and had similar accounts of the kind woman at the front desk, Claudia. In a world where we are feeling more and more disconnected everyday, her efforts to connect are so appreciated! Thank you to the Creekside Inn for again having impeccable grounds and rooms, and for encouraging this type of personal and friendly customer service.…
Upon checking in, Eric greeted us in a very professional and courteous way. After giving him our information, he regretfully informed us that he couldn't find our reservation. He then asked me for my complete name, and researching under my first, middle, and last name, he happily told us that the third-party reservation service (Reservation Desk), had erred in booking the reservation by using my first name as my last name, and my middle name as my first name...problem solved. He was so efficient in finding the resolution to the problem, while also thanking us for being patient and understanding. We were so impressed how cool and collected he was that we spoke to the Assistant Manager to compliment her on his manner in handling what could have been a troubling situation. He also recommended NOT using third-party services when making a reservation. Kudos to Eric!…
Always try to stay here on my way to Tahoe/Reno. Great location within walking distance to many restaurants. Staff is very personable and their breakfast is delicious.the room was clean and quiet. The surrounding creek is well landscaped and makes the ambiance.
We always stay here because the rooms are nice and the grounds are beautiful and peaceful. There is a stream running through the grounds by the pool area. You are in town but it's like you're in the back country. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. The staff was great. Claudia and Melissa at the front desk were very helpful. We extended our stay and Claudia helped work it out as the hotel was very full. We appreciated her help. We will definitly stay here again.
Such a pretty room in an unexpected place. Who knew a creek ran through a desert? The inn has taken advantage of that anomaly to create something of an oasis. We had a room with a balcony overlooking the stream, a fire pit and the pool area. It was 106 during the day but once the sun went down it was lovely on the balcony reading and watching the guests enjoy themselves in the cool of the evening. The room was richly appointed in browns and rusts with artistic touches such as better than average art and interesting lamps. Everything was spotless and the bed was comfortable. The hotel called us in the early afternoon and let us know the room was ready and we could check in early. How wonderful - more time to enjoy the place and we were wondering what we would do with ourselves in the heat until 3PM check-in. Bravo, for customer service.…
I'm not sure I remember her name correctly maybe Victoria? she had a German or Russian accent at the front desk, she was amazing had great recommendations on dining out and when she found out it was our anniversary she brought us a card signed by the staff and homemade cookies. She was very sweet.
We found the staff very approachable and accommodating. The room could use a bit more lighting. There was no luggage caddy and there were no hooks for towels, hats etc. The decor on property matched the website - was a nice lodge feel. The pool lacked clean towels the two times my son used it. All and all though it is a property I would return to, though not in the middle of summer!
