This is just what a B&B should be. Well furnished and perfectly maintained rooms, beautiful grounds, excellent food, and a gracious host. There are five rooms in a large ranch style house on a large lot. While the rooms are comfortable, there is also a large comfortable living room, and places to relax outside. It is easy to walk from...

A wonderfully relaxing place to getaway from the hectic pace of life. The grounds are beautiful, with plenty of places to sit and relax. The owner and family are friendly, and have a wealth of knowledge about the surrounding area. Breakfast was delicious, as was the conversation with Hilde, the owner of the property. Schat's Bakery is just a short...

A few months ago, my partner and I discovered this wonderful B+B while touring America. We still talk about our relaxed time spent there, as one of the highlights of our holiday. It is probably in our personal top 5 ever best B+B. The hosts, Myriam and her parents are extremley friendly and welcoming people.Having run their own restaurant for...

We stayed here for 2 nights last October. We were greeted by Hilde the hosts mother,a lovely lady who treated us like family and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was very nice. The inn is located in pleasant grounds a short walk from the town centre where nice sandwiches could be...

We spent 3 days at the Joseph House Inn and it lives up to its excellent reputation here on TripAdvisor. The proprietors were friendly and they helped us to plan our day trips. Breakfast is delicious and the innkeeper even asked what time we'd like to be served each morning. My wife and I look forward to the evening social...

We can only confirm other reviewers - this is a wonderful spot. Miriam is a great hostess, the breakfasts are superb in a beautiful garden (we had mum, dad and 2 baby woodpeckers arguing above us!) Our whole 2 day stay was just totally enjoyable.

My wife and I spend our annual bouldering holiday in the Sierra Nevada again. This year we chose Joseph's House Inn as our base camp. Situated next to a quiet street the location is meticuously well kept and mixes a European attitude with American style. The owners originally come from Switzerland and Germany but lived in the US for ages....

My husband and I spent 5 nights at the Joseph House Inn in May. We had a wonderful stay. The Joseph House Inn, just a little over a block off of Hwy 395 and downtown Bishop, is an oasis of natural beauty and loving care. Myriam and her mother truly know what hospitality is and they practice it with each...

This is easily the nicest place to stay in Bishop. Not only do you get to enjoy the large "park like" setting (complete w/ a small pond and ducks).;But the hostess, Miriam, is warm, accomadating, and a wealth of information. From gormet breakfast to mid-afternoon wine.....this is the real deal. Miriam's European roots are evident in all the details that...
