It was one of the most amazing places we have been in our country! Very quiet, very friendly hosts, the best place to go with children or just with your loved one :).
The design of the Pension is very beautiful, the rooms are quite large and very tasteful decorated.
We just went there and we were lucky enough to have two days with snow, and the yard was very story-like looking.
Another thing that we liked very much was the exquisite breakfast with home made food, and jam that has the taste of our childhood, and also home made sweets, which are very rare this days.
We were happy that we went to Natura and for sure we will return in the summer! Congratulations to the owners for a job well done, they are the living proof that if you do something from the heart and with passion it will be great!

We spend 4 days here with my wife, 2 years old daughter and some friends. Very nice rooms, excellent food, amazing views and nice people. The inside and outside playgrounds are very nice and well equipped, you can do horse ridding, carriage rides and a few other activities. Very child friendly, a lot of parking spaces, just amazing!

Big, nice furnished room , kingside bed, with great view to Fagaras Mountains, large garden with children space, sports area and terrace. Have their own vegetable's garden and they make an tasteful zuckini jam :-). Great breakfast with a lot of choice.

Nice place surrounded by nature.
We received a room with moist bed sheets.
The restaurant had 2 or 3 dishes to choose, so it was easy to make our choice but the food tasted not fresh.
The staff acted as helpful but was not effective.

ok don't rely on gps co-ordinates for directions instead head for avrig centre and look for a signpost, don't blink or you'll miss it. it's a difficult place to find when it's dark and the access road to the pension is not the best for the motorcycles. the room itself was clean comfortable and a reasonable size. the shower was good and the bed comfy, but, the rooms are only as quiet as the neighbours are, we were unfortunate enough to have noisy ones who spent most of the evening into the small hours drinking and being noisy. as the night wore on the dogs from neighbouring farms houses etc barked all night which kept us awake. breakfast was supposed to be served early but when we arrived nothing much was set up and we felt we were intruding. when we sat down to eat it was ok nothing special

Pension Natura is excellent positioned. Just 4 km from the mountains with an incredible view over the Fagaras Mountains. The entire pension is well managed by a familly and rooms are high quality.
You can enjoy weekends but also longer stays trekking or go horse riding. You rent horses at Pension Ghiocelul.

Pros:
- good location, remote and far from noise
- great garden, playground and heated pool (did not use it but many kids seemed to have fun)
- garden tables nicely arranged far from each other and diverse sitting options
- lot of space for kids to play (including a small football field, trampoline, ping-pong table)
- nice garden and small animal farm (the dogs may use more room but they looked well taken care off and maybe they get regular time outside)
- friendly staff
- big rooms
- good breakfast
- nice “daily” menu which was actually almost an entire restaurant menu, not only 1-2 options. Not sure if this is always available
- tasty food
- good value for money.
Cons:
- no AC in our room (not sure if there are rooms with AC). We didn’t need it but it may be useful in the middle of the summer

More of a heads-up than a con, it’s not a place if you are bothered by kids running around. It didn’t bother us at all as we also have one but before having kids, most probably I would have not been too excited, even if none really bothered us.

Room Tip: We stared walking behind the hotel and ran into a jackal. Walking near forest come with chances...

Our friends recommended this place, but we found much more on the premises.
It is a family business in a beautiful place. The road is good, you have only about 200 m on a pebble road. The first thing we saw the very big courtyard - all green and neat. Our kid had a lot of entertainment there (trampoline, slides, swings, archery).
The villa is spacious and clean, with hosts and employees that were always at your service. The room was big - the only problem was that, visiting during the weekend, there was a party and the next night a wedding nearby so it was kind of noisy and hat to shut the windows.
Most of the food was home made and we even bought for home several syrup bottles.
The big surprise was the vegetable garden and animals they have (chickens, ducks, rabbits, dogs) - proof the food was really natural and also a big delight for our 8 year old.
Will return for sure and until then, we'll definitely spread the word.

Everything about this place will amaze you. The people that are managing this place choose everythig carefully, from the way that everythig looks and how clean they are, to the fresh and really tasty food. You can see that the people are very kind, they really know how to treat guests and they put the client first. If you have children, they will have lots of toys to play and plenty of place to run. You must visit this wonderful place!
