Very interesting traditional Javanese theme. The location is convenient and very private. If the morning feels cool and comfortable. The amenities are attractive in design. The cottages that are far from each other are provided with transportation that we can call at any time if needed. Interesting experience, hope it stays the best. Thank you.

A unique experience. The people are very nice. Service is good. Food is good too. (Please get more Western food items for breakfast; also for us Indonesian folks. The JOGLO Rooms are interesting. Get some more 3-4 star upgrades in these rooms: Lighting, good TV channels, Bathrooms! Good rates. Book direct!! Beautiful Tropical Garden. Nice walking paths; nice pool (wish they would have umbrellas and mattress on the lounge chairs); nice fitness center

It’s our first time visiting Semarang, and Balemong resort is our first option to stay. We couldnt ask for a better place because Balemong has offered us a good hospitality and facility.. The hotel is designated with a strong javanese culture and the are is very spacious which can accomodate any occassion. If you’re going to have a party or family gathering you can add this hotel on your list..

Beautiful resort build with authentic antique Javanese Joglo houses - which were taken from its original locations and were rebuild in the resort and converted into a hotel. Decorated with antiquities, providing a traditional warm Javanese atmosphere to the hotel. The resort also provides an excellent view: the adjacent rice field and Mt.Ungaran in the background. Service is excellent, staff were super friendly and welcoming - and quickly accomodate our request to cchange room at it smelt stale of cigarette smoke and upgraded us different rooms and duty manager even came up to apologize personally. The resort does not have much facilities aside of the swimming pool (a spa.would be great here!) The breakfast was great - while the choices was not as many but served great traditional Indonesian dishes as well old-style breads.

I came here for a long weekend with my family. It is a very traditional Javanese resort which makes it very different than most that I have visited. The place put all kinds of antique furniture blended with beautiful landscape throughout. In the morning, you can run along the track with padi field as a view. The place is very quiet that allows complete relaxation while you are there. The staff is super friendly and attentive. My probably small request here is to have a gym sometime in the future. The management team said they are working on that one and in the middle of figuring out how to blend their traditional root with a more modern touch. I am even thinking of coming back once that it is done.

Dear Mohammad D, First of all, thank you for taking your time to rate and review us here on TripAdvisor. It was a delightful pleasure for us to be able to serve you during your stay here! The Resort concept aims to preserve the richness of Javanese culture with Dutch and Chinese touch on the ornaments and antiques. We are planning to deliver one-stop Javanese culture experience here at Balemong. Regarding the gym facilities, we are currently working on that. When the facility is ready to use, we will broadcast it through our social media and promotional kits. We truly look forward to welcoming you back here in the future with the gym facilities! Warmest regards from our big family of Balemong Resort, Edward Verhoeven General Manager

The resort was very nice, staff was very friendly. Will definitely come again and try to stay at the villas with Joglo style. But only 1 thing that need to be improve. Food service timing. Definitely need to improve to maintain their food quality. The lasagna,Fettuccine Carbonara was unique style but very nice taste. Only the what dissatisfied is the serving time too long so it was all cold when we got it. Even other light snacks. Breakfast, i can say, average local taste, don't expect a 5 star taste. But if you order from the restaurant you definitely will get a nice taste, regardless the servicing time.

Beautiful joglo ( wooden traditional houses from Jawa). There are 8 joglo which well preserved, clean and beautifully craved. The interior really great, the room is spacious and the scenery is amazing green. We visited for family gathering and got one joglo with 4 bed rooms, big livibg room and open terrace with 4 bale. All the furniture made from carved wood hand made antique. My parents love the jogging tract and jogg peacefully while enjoying mount Ungaran and paddi field. Thanks for the hospitality. All the staff wellcome us with great smile and helpful. Certainly will comeback with big family for family gathering.
