We camped at Naturplac Na Skali as family with 2 kiddos. The place is close to nature and has its own charm. When we were most of the other guests were families as well and the Kidds were playing together. The facilities are good and clean. The river is beautiful but very cold (which on the other hand is normal since it's mountain river). All together it was a memorable experience for us and I think we will be back in the future.
These people are*hardcore* capitalists. A sense of greed and opportunism infects this place, which you feel is jumping on the "eco" bandwagon without any real belief in the underlying principles. Moreover, it is predictably expensive for what you get and some of the staff were casually racist. Beware!
We have just spent 4 nights here after our own tent was wrecked by a storm whilst in Slovenia.!! What a find!! Hidden away just out of a village and down by a river. Superb facilities and a great atmosphere. Free bike hire and spent the days floating down the river on inflatables provided. Communal cooking area with EVERYTHING provided. BRILLIANT EXPERIENCE. Thank You Casper
I met an Army buddy. here during his 2 week leave. This camp is wonderful. The facilities are amazing as they are equipped with very nice indoiranskim showers and WCs, as well as a cool open air shower. There are plenty of campfire areas where everyone gathers at night for a beer and good convo. The favorite spot for me is the swimming area which is a large flat stone beach from which you can dive into 3 meter deep clear, cold (8-10 degree) mountain water. One of the regular campers took us hiring to Sedlo Peak (1860m) which includes a waterfall and spectacular alpine views. There are plenty of activities in the area such as horseback riding, caving, rapelling, and kayaking. I suggest taking part in the tea. ceremony and here garden tour at the largest church in Slovenia in Gorni Grad. I will return and bring friends.…
We stayed 10 days with our two kids and it was wonderful. We got a warm welcome from Gaspar, Alec and there team. We didn't feel like tourists, but as guests, participants of their nature and sports project, and even also got tips for cultural trips. Starting from the camp, we did several sports activities (mountain climbing, rafting) but we also visited beautiful spots. Logarska Dolina and Velika Planina were very close and fantastic but we visited also Ljubljana, Bled, from there because Slovenia is not a very big country but very beautiful. At the camp, you hear constantly the river and it gives a lot of peace. The outdoor kitchen, the outdoor showers, fireplaces and hammocks made it heaven. It was all very clean. We will never forget that special spot and that very special, adventurous and nice holidays.…
We chose Naturplac to experience some relaxation in the wilderness for one night of our honeymoon and we were not disappointed. The tents are very comfortable and well spaced out. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The shower and bathroom facilities are very high end for a camp site and their ecological approach is really refreshing. Gaspar and his team made us feel very welcome. There was also a delivery van in the car park the following morning selling freshly baked breads and pastries for breakfast. The views and surrounding area are stunning. Get the accurate location from the host prior to arriving especially if driving or arriving at night. the entrance the GPS leads you to, brings you into the middle of the tent area. We found this out too late!
This is an amazing place at the Kamniško Savinjske Alps. If you go to Logarska Valey you need to stop here, relax and enjoy in the heart of nature. The camp is surrounding with green nature and has a lot of activities to offer. Nearby is the river Savinja in which we had a nice refreshing swim in hot summer days. People are nice and friendful. Highly recommended.
Every time when going to the Kamniško Savinjske Alps we stop at this place. Nice nature around the camp and a lot of activities to discuss around. Camp is well equipped (bathrooms, camping area, river Savinja near by to relax and swim in hot summer day). Great and hospitable people which run the camp with a lot of information. Place to visit when in this region of Slovenia.
This camping spot looks out on the river! Even though it was high season at the time we visisted it never felt crowded. The eco-showers are a real treat. Seems to be a great place to take kids aswell.
Lovely quiet campsite on the river. Cars stay in the car park, only tents, people and birds. Lots of beautiful places around, Logarska Dolina is an excellent starting point for walks in the mountains.
