We stayed at the Hillcrest for one night as we were passing through. It is a shame we didn't have more time to spend here as we loved it. It was a lovely, cosy lodge and we had a wonderful stay. There was a kitchenette area in our room, and a real log fire which we used and had a... More

We had gone up for spring break planning to stay M-F however I had made a mistake and the place we were at had people coming in Thursday afternoon ... In a panic we started looking for a place for the night! It was my girlfriend and I and our 3 kids. We came across Hillcrest and was impressed right... More

My family stayed at the Hillcrest Lodge and loved it! We stayed in room #4 which has a kitchen and fireplace with a cabin feel to it. We ate breakfast in the room before taking off to the slopes for the day; then enjoyed a warm fire in the evening. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The... More

We had a wonderful three day getaway at Hillcrest Lodge. We stayed in Mill Creek-Cabin B. It was immaculate. It offered a comfortable bed, kitchen with gas stove, refrigerator, eat-in kitchen for two, and a nice front porch to enjoy a nice, cool evening. The water pressure for the shower was very good, and the heating unit did a nice... More

I must say our stay at this mountain retreat was amazing at this mountain lodge. My girlfriend and I celebrated our anniversary here and immediately from check in I fell in love with the quaint building and cabin architecture. There was barbecue grills and decks to enjoy the beautifull greenery. Upon check in I met Val and Ken (owners of... More

Certainly the room was warm and the bed was okay. But room 2 was just too cramped for comfort on a ski trip and the sound insulation was awful; traffic noise, noise from the TV in the adjacent room, noise from doors banging in adjacent rooms. There were three shallow drawers plus one bedside nightstand. There was a ski-rack kinda... More

You booked our least expensive room, it is small & states square footage along with pictures on booking site you chose. You could have come down to the office upon check-in when you realized room booked was smaller than you thought. You stayed 2 nights & never said anything to us, owners onsite all weekend, perhaps we could have moved... More

This lodge location is very convenient to town activities, ski areas and National Forest access. The first-floor queen suite was nicely furnished and decorated - quaint mountain lodge style - and very comfortable. Proprietors Ken and Val are real friendly and attentive. Ken had a former career in commercial plumbing, which is reflected in the overall high quality and maintenance... More
