I stayed here on a snowboarding trip with my son. We really enoyed our stay. The room was a good size, we has a fireplace in our room and everything was clean and tidy. I loved the classic decor throughout the hotel too. Breakfast also exceeded my expectations. Beside the usual continental breakfast, they had eggs, potatoes, sausage etc... Overall...

The staff at the BW Chateau are the best group of hospitality representatives I ever come across from Adrian who fixed our TV, to Fran who helped us the night we checked in, to the lady in the dining room who waited on us...everyone was helpful, courteous, and always provided a smile (which means alt to me). The room was...

It makes going skiing in Big Bear that much more fun! Right down the street from Bear Mountain. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable and affordable. The Chateau is great for the weekend and the breakfast is good too. If you don't want to drive all the way to Mammoth and spend 400 a night...

It was a very bad experience, since the arrival, the person who attend us was not having any courtesy, she was actually having dinner, so I guess that was the problem, no smile, no welcome, no nothing.......the room is old and dirty, the fireplace was not working, air conditioning was not working, faucet of the shower was broken so we...

We stayed here with our two kids for a weekend to play in the snow. The location was convenient, close to the ski resorts, snow play, and a short drive to the Village. Our daughter loved that the hotel looked like a castle and the dining room had pink chandeliers. The room was clean and the breakfast was good. The...

The area is not really that great so for the area this hotel holds up. The thing that makes it better than the rest is the service, especially from the houseman Adrian as well as some of the front desk staff. One of the hardest working people I have met with such a great attitude. The food is decent, but...

I stayed here last January on a last-minute ski trip. The lobby decor was utterly charming, the staff was very nice and helpful, and I appreciated the free breakfast which was WAY more than I expected. The room was fine - standard for a Best Western, and we didn't spend much time in it. Great location - close to the...

Frescoes in the lobby, crystal chandeliers and a weird elevator. Smaller rooms, comfortable beds. Included breakfast attempting to be good but not managing to be good. It's clean, with weird homey decor. Good for families and crowds I imagine but I doubt you'd want to do much else than sleep here. I would rent a cabin next time probably.

Paid $300 bucks for a Saturday night stay. Worst hotel deal of my life. The wynn in Vegas is less than this, and let me tell ya this isn't the wynn. For $150 it would be worth it. Bad breakfast, noisy rooms, broken amenities, staff was just ok, but overall just not good for the amount I paid

Just great. I had a great time. The service was great. Solid bar staff. Great front desk service. Good views of the mountain and trees. The cleaning crew was thorough. Don't forget to tip. Will be staying there next time I go to Big Bear.
