My daughter and I decided at the last minute to go up to Big Bear for the night. Found this place and immediately chose it because of the great price, dog friendly (our dog's first vacation :-) and it was so close to the village. I was very happy with the friendliness of the staff and manager. We had room...

Traveled with 3 teenagers - got room #14. Pros: large room with full kitchen, comfortable beds, very clean, separate vanity area, got a good deal from the manager Marcos, and spa was awesome after the ski trip. Cons: poor Internet connection, no daily cleaning service, small towels, no hairdryer, and thin walls (the first night I couldn't sleep at all...

Had a great stay at the Honey Bear Lodge over the weekend. We found that the lodge is a cozy place to stay. We had the loft room and it could sleep up to 6 people very comfortably with room to spare. It has a queen and a futon bed down stairs and a queen bed upstairs in the loft....

Made last minute reservation for President day weekend, of course, not a lot of options. Got a one room unit. Very spacious, with queen size bed, futon bed, could have easily accomodated 4 or 5. Nothing fancy, but more than adequate for a short stay to ski. The manager was super nice, gave us extra firewood and a space heater,...

Had stayed here before and had an excellent time, but stayed in one of the loft rooms with a view. This time, we took a smaller room cheaper, one level. The good points - cute, clean, fireplace, walk to village, could easily fit two adults and two children in this room. The bad points - no blow dryer! Forgot to check...

We are due to have a baby in May and were very excited for one of our last weekend getaways before we become parents. We checked into our $150 per night room and it was very basic and outdated. The bathroom did not have any soap and there was no remote for the tv. A selling point was the fireplace...

It also had a full kitchen which saved us a ton on eating out! A seperate bedroom with a full and twin bed, and may I add two sperate tvs which...

I had the worst experience at the Honey Bear Lodge. It was late when I booked the room before the vacation. The online information and pictures of this place were not convincing but I booked it anyway because of the overall rating was good (4/5). That was a big mistake! The door could not be closed properly, the blind of...
