I made a reservation at a different resort called the Grey Squirrel, and needed an extra night but they were full. I stayed one night at their new cabin hotel Creek Runner that I guess the company just bought. The location was great, I could walk to the park and Lake about 1/4 block. My sweet hubby planned a surprise trip to big bear .... I could tell he was stressed about the room I will admit I'm a little germ a phob when it comes to staying in hotels , lodges ect. and I'm a little on the picky side but don't think I'm a princess we live in Pine Mountain Club so...

After trying several different rentals in Big Bear for Skiing, hunting, fishing, biking and romantic getaway and family vacations, we stumbled upon Creek Runner's Lodge.
