PROS: This place is so cute and cozy, with nice rooms. The water gets hot right away, and the bathroom is so spacious. Very comfy mattress as well. The best part is that they feed you a family style sit down breakfast with all the other guests! The food was very tasty. And the staff was welcoming and friendly.

CONS: They had the heat turned up so the rooms would be warm for us...except the room was super hot and didn't cool off until early morning. It made it hard to sleep. Also, check in before 8 so someone will be there to show you to your room.

I would 100% stay here again. I would just air out the hot room right away and throughly.

This is easily the most charming place I've ever stayed. The owner is warm and inviting, and she has extra special touches like nightly appetizers and desserts. The inn itself is beautiful and has everything you need for a fun stay, including movies and board games. It's also very close to the snow summit parking lots and the village, so awesome location. I am totally in love with this place and can't wait to go back!

We booked this place about two months out. When we arrived the host greeted us and showed us to our nice room which had a King size bed. She had a basket with a couple small bottles of wine and some cheese and crackers and some home made cookies that where probably the best cookies I've ever had. In-spite of covid we were still able to have breakfast every morning at 9 am. Everything was freshly made. The coffee and juice was delicious. We were like the only guests for a couple of day and then there was groups of people that stay there often. This place was very peaceful and relaxing. There was a trail behind the b&b that lead you to the community. Nice place to walk and not far from restaurants and grocery stores. I will definitely visit this place again as the Host and the staff are friendly and really make you feel welcomed. The decor is antiquated but all in all the place is great. If you are in Big Bear and don't want to do hotels and are looking for a place with good breakfast then I suggest the Apples Bed and Breakfast Inn.

This place is just ok. It is basically a motel as there are no other amenities provided as one would usually expect at a B&B. They give you a small bag for breakfast that has a hard boiled egg, yogurt, an apple, and a chintzy slice of a baked good. There are no snacks in the afternoon or evening and you can’t even find a mug to drink out of if you want tea. And I hope you like plain tea as there is no sugar or honey or anything.

My Fiancé and I chose to go to Apples Bed and Breakfast for the holiday weekend and we had the best time! The General Manager Tracy had so many ideas on things for us to do despite the COVID-19 Pandemic. She suggested we rent a boat and go out on the lake and we had the BEST time! The breakfast was delicious too and very filling. We had a baked egg in a tortilla with beans and salsa that was to die for and the next day we had an amazing Dutch Baby Pancake with fruit. It was just the perfect amount of food to set us up for our day of adventure. We also had delicious chocolate chip and white macadamia nut cookies in our room for a snack. We did not enjoy the normal afternoon snacks in the lounge area but with the COVID-19 Pandemic and a Vons literally down the street, we did not mind and our waistlines did not mind either. We will definitely be going back to Apples Bed and Breakfast again soon to enjoy the cozy rooms and Tracy's fabulous cooking!

My friends and I had the absolute best experience ever here for the Fourth of July! The Inn is an absolutely adorable bright pink house that is so charming and sweet! The staff was so amazing and I was actually really happy to observe them taking measures to socially distance and abide by COVID regulations. I was worried staff would come into our rooms to clean, thus increasing the chance of COVID spreading. However, they simply informed us upon check-in that if we needed anything to just ask as they wouldn’t be coming in and out. What a relief! The general manager, Tracy, went above and beyond for us all! I can’t believe how incredible the breakfasts were and all individually done! Not just some generic pre-made or boxed food. She was so sweet to invite us all to spend time with her own family and friends on July 4th (her son, daughter in law, etc.) and all wearing masks and socially distancing, of course. And her baked treats! WOW!!! I couldn’t have asked for a better weekend! We absolutely cannot WAIT to go back!

WOW!!! We are so happy we stayed here one night for our girls' getaway weekend August 1-2, 2020! From the clean, floral room (Summer), formal Afternoon Tea, excellent customer service, to the scrumptious breakfast, we couldn't stop oohing and aahhing over all the beautiful details of the bed and breakfast. The meals were all served in the beautiful garden due to Covid. Tracy was kind and accommodating. Santiago also did a great job at check-in, taking photos for us, and serving the meals. The only thing that could have been improved was if there was A/C in the room. But it's ok. The ceiling fan was fine and we could open the windows at night. We would definitely stay here again!

My Husband and I went to this bed and Breakfast to get away from it all! However
our stay was not as great as I would have wished. We were the only couple there.
very nice inside but I could smell mold coming from somewhere in the room.
We had no hot water in the sink. So, our hands were frozen every time we washed them.

They turned the water heater up but it didn't help much. Also during the restrictions of Covid 19 we were not allowed to eat inside. So the owner made us eat in cold temperatures outside in the patio, with no heaters. Even though the food was good, you could not enjoy it while freezing outside. We asked for heaters, she said no, and provided us with a blanket.

I did not feel the owner really cared about her customers at all. She seemed very stressed out and rude to us. I told her if we would have know the conditions of eating outside in the cold, we would have cancelled out trip but she did not tell us
that when the weather turned cold.

She told us she was following the guidelines according to the State, however she never once wore a mask!! which was very disturbing to us. No one in the kitchen including her, did not wear masks while they were cooking!!

My husband and I decided to leave a day early, because we couldn't take the outside cold anymore. She did not want to refund us the money for one day. Only give us credit. But we will not be coming back again. So, I hope this review gives you and your friends on how this place really felt to us.

Yearly women's retreat over Labor Day weekend. Food is delicious, rooms comfortable, landscaping is beautiful and the staff is caring and attentive. During non-COVID times, they have appetizers and dessert each evening, and the breakfast is filling.

The Inn is absolutely cozy and adorable, perfect location. The breakfast was delicious, spent afternoons in a rocking chair in front of a fireplace. The rooms were so comfortable and they leave you homemade cookies when you check in. I can't wait to go back
