The owner is not honest snd a liar. I booked a reservation and unfortunately needed to cancel the next day because of Covid and illness. He was very rude and told me if he rebooks room he will refund my money minus $25 cancellation fee . I Know he rebooked room , I followed his website . Very comfortable, the host was super friendly. It was a pleasure to stay here and we will definitely go back. Breakfast was yummy and the ground were beautiful. We stayed in the Presidential suite, the bed was very comfortable and enjoyed the big bathtub.

Wow! Our 1st time ever at a Bed&Breakfast. The rustic charm is felt as you enter the building. Amy, Darrin and Georgi are super friendly and caring. They love doing what they do and it shows not only in the ambience surrounding us but also in their wanting to make sure that your stay is wonderful and up to par with their standards. Our Cary Grant room was very cozy. Bed and bedding fresh and comfy. A lot of added bonuses too. Bathroom was quaint . Electric Heater was in there along with a warming towel rack that we used during our stay. All details were amazing throughout the home. Firewood available 24/7. My hubby and I highly recommend that you visit this B&B. Thank you so much for your Hospitality.

The host, hostess, and staff provide a home away from home atmosphere. This is a large old house with a living room, game room, and mini-kitchen for guests. There are multiple bedrooms upstairs along with a Presidents Room (decor) tucked away in a corner and separate downstairs room. This place is ideal for groups traveling together. We came midweek to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary in the Presidents room. One other couple was there our first night in the downstairs room. They woke up early to work, and we could hear their phone calls. So don't stay in the Presidents Room if you want quiet. We supposedly had the place to ourselves the second night. Unfortunately for us, the staff turned over the holiday decorations so we were unable to use the communal space. I would recommend this B&B for a family reunion, group getaway, or wedding. We're so sorry that we did not meet your expectations. As it is an old house, it isn't as sound proofed as many modern buildings and sound can carry. We're sorry to hear it was an issue for you. The holiday decorating in our common areas only lasted until 5-6 PM, so you would have had full access all evening. We appreciate the feedback and will definitely make adjustments to ensure we address your concerns.

Last weekend was our first time staying at a Bed and Breakfast, and the Gold Mountain Manor definitely set the bar high! My girlfriend and I stayed in the Presidential Suite which we highly recommend! I got us the romance package which made for a very lovely time paired with the indoor jacuzzi, and we also spent a lot of time in the living room playing pool and outside watching the chipmunks, bluebirds, and rabbits roam around. I personally found the bed very extraordinarily comfortable. The manor itself is located in a convenient part of Big Bear very close to some of the hiking trails and not too far from the village. Before heading up, we had some concerns about the weather in Big Bear, but Darrin was very knowledgeable and reassuring about everything going on at the time. He is also a very friendly and good communicator. Georgi was the one who welcomed us and gave us a tour of the place. She was the one who made our breakfast which was a very delicious dish of quiche, bacon, and potatoes served after a yummy parfait! She was great, and her daughter was also really adorable! Overall, we highly recommend booking a stay at the Gold Mountain Manor and will definitely be planning another stay ourselves in the future!…

This was our first time staying in a B&B and we were completely blown away. The property is immaculately maintained. We stayed in the Cozy Pine Suite which has a huge Jacuzzi tub that came in handy after getting soaked in a summer down pour of rain! The property is very clean, cozy, well equipped with games/pool table/streaming services on the TV. The owner Darrin is so friendly and accommodating. I have dietary restrictions and the staff went above and beyond making me Gluten Free pancakes and Gluten Free Nutella french toast in the mornings! I can go on and on but take my word for it... you will NOT be dissappointed 🙂

Drove to Big Bear Lake for Memorial Day weekend. Host texted me prior to arriving and kept me up to date on the time my room would be ready. Cabin was spacious and room was great. Breakfast provided in the morning which was a nice added touch to the atmosphere. Area was nice and provided a local experience. Would recommend if you are looking for a home style experience.

This B&B is rustic beauty and luxurious!! We had the most amazing time staying in the Presidential Suite and were lucky enough to have the entire home to ourselves the first 2 of 3 evenings. The stone fireplace and huge jacuzzi tub were heavenly to relax each evening.....and downstairs the game room, snacks of popcorn, hot chocolate, and board games were perfect! The owner Darrin was extremely wonderful and kept in great communication with us. Georgia made us the most devine breakfast of yogurt parfait, cinnamon sugar waffles, sausage and O.J.! We can't wait to come back again and bring friends!
