The location is in the middle of the Harau Valley, quit and super relaxing environment, in the middle of the ricefields. Step out of your cabin into the ricefields, it can't be better! The staff is excellent. We have cooked twice with Noni and learned a lot. The food is great! It is very easy to rent a motorbike and... More

Absolutely lovely family that run this homestay; They made sure I was well looked after and able to enjoy the area. Cabins are basic but have everything you need. Located in a serene part of Harau Valley that backs onto some stunning green paddy fields, most of the time all you'll be able to hear are the birds and the... More

We were staying at Abdi last week for a group vacation. The dinner is good, surrounding nature is an eye pleaser. Their accommodation is very basic but quite clean. Not much to our favorite other than the great Harau Valley.

Reviews are true, the location is beautiful, quiet, peaceful. Bungalow are simple but really nice (wasn't sure about the cleanliness of my sheets though). Friendly people. Harau Valley is beautiful and this place is probably the best location in the area !

A great experience, very friendly and so nice surroundings. The rise fields are really beautiful. The cabins are simply but are clean and have a good bed. The food is really great and the help from the owners is beyond....... A good place to stay for a couple of days to relax and to see the surroundings.

Run by a family with a lot of efforts to keep an open, calm atmosphere. Meals are great, home made, cottages nice and quiet, surroundings with many attractions and places to visit. Worth to spend two, or three nights. Alina and Marek

My group spent a night in Abdi Homestay. We found this place not just through TripAdvisor (seems like it's popular with foreigners), but also Indonesian blogs. Access to the inn is limited to a small vehicle only because of the bridge built to connect is too small. Small MPV should be no problem, but the car I rent, a medium... More

The accommodation is lovely, but it's very basic. Indonesian shower, which consists of throwing a small bucket of cold water on yourself, and no toilet roll or bidet. I think you're meant to splash the bucket of water on yourself after the toilet? So bring your own toilet roll and hand sanitiser, as no sink. Mosquito net was full of... More

We had a very peaceful couple of days staying at Abdi’s (run by Iqbal and his wife Noni). It’s a beautiful location in front of sheer cliffs, looking out over rice paddies and you can hear birds, crickets and monkeys calling. The dinners are really good and you pay whatever you consider fair for these. The rooms are basic, (but... More
