Beverly Hills
Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.

The hotel is not exceptional and relies on its history rather than what it currently offers. The food and beverage prices were very high and the food provided in the bar was poor. Disappointing overall.

Review collected in partnership with Hilton Hotels & Resorts
Hotel's Favorite
Classic hotel that has hosted dignitaries Hollywood royalty and travels looking for a unique experience. My wife and I like staying here once a year for a weekend get away. This year I booked a room using Hilton Honors points. We arrived before the normal check in time hoping to get into the room earlier if possible as a Hilton Diamond member. Our room wasn't ready.NP! We went and had a great lunch by the pool and relaxed. We went back at the prescribed time for check in and the room unfortunately was not ready. The person I was working with at the front desk was very apologetic. He looked at his computer and said I found you a room! He said it is an "upgrade". It turned out to be a corner penthouse two room suite! it was way beyond over the top for the inconvenience of waiting a bit for our room and much appreciated as it was our wedding anniversary (not known to the front desk) so it made it extra special. Hilton posts in their rooms that "if something is not right, they will fix it". They more than fixed it. This is why I'm a loyal Hilton traveler. Thank you Hilton Hotels and the Beverly Hilton (& staff) for a wonderful stay and great memories and for standing by your pledge to make things right! . Much appreciated. We'll be back again to the Beverly Hilton. If you are planning a trip to Beverly Hills, please consider them them in your travel plans. I can't guarantee an upgrade to a penthouse suite but they will treat you like the most important guest in the hotel!

This hotel treats you as if you are nobody, as if you are lucky to be there. There is no recognition NONE of being a Hilton Honors guest. They respond with absolute rigidity to any request, like a late departure. The hotel has been done in part and they think it's fabulous; it's ok; the roo,s that haven't yet been redone stink of mold. All that being said, they have a lot of really nice staff and the food is good.

I travel frequently for work and eariler in the week I was up in San Francisco. I had flew in to our L.A. office and just needed a room for the night before heading out of L.A. I reserved the Beverly Hilton the night before I arrived. My room was in the Oasis tower (I believe this tower is very old/worn). I checked in online as per my usual and picked my room with my arrival time. Once I arrived I discovered that it was not ready but the front desk clerk said she would give me a "refreshed room" for the inconvenience. I accepted and headed off to my room. It was OK upon arrival and I started getting ready to go out for the evening. Unfortunately I could heard EVERYTHING in the room next door...I'll leave it there without getting descriptive. I put on the TV to drown out the sound and kept getting ready. When I made my way down to the lobby I noticed they were hosting an event for Charlize Theron which I thought was cool, but I had dinner plans. By the time I returned to the room it was almost midnight and wanted something from the mini bar, the only problem was that all the pricing is uploaded on a tablet that never worked my entire stay, just a constant white spinning circle (see pictures) even after resetting it. I figured how much could a can of soda be... Needless to say that I was a bit surprised when I got a bill for $7 after I checked out. It's fine, no big deal, I wanted it so I paid the price. However it would have been very nice to know that beforehand from a working tablet. My overall stay was sufficient but it's like I said, it's the little things that need to be improved upon. I would most likely stay again on my next trip to L.A. but in a different tower.
