Didn't know quite what to expect but, very pleansantly surprised by this beautiful boutique hotel. First Impression was the front desk check in was extremly friendly and helpful. Just after we arrived in our room we were deliverd 2 glasses of wine and a bucket of ice that we had requested. It was a great way to start our stay. The room was very clean and comfortable. I had room service for breakfast each morning. It was convenient and delicious. Lastly and most importantly was the location. We walked almost everywhere. This hotel could not be in a better location. I would definately stay again!
This is our 3rd or 4th time staying at the Sirtaj. We enjoy the proximity to Rodeo Drive and the surrounding stores and restaurants. They welcome you warmly with a glass of delicious juice...even when we did a late late check in at about 10pm. The hotel, albeit small, is always clean and staff are excellent. My main gripe with this hotel is that the rooms really need some major sound proofing. We were on the first level and directly above, someone was wearing dress shoes or shoes with a hard bottom. Every time he/she walked across the room, we could hear every single step quite loudly in our room...and this was at 1am! We had to turn on the fan in the room to at least muffle the sounds of the shoes. Also, either above us or In a room in our hallway, we could hear other people’s conversations. Did not allow for Is to get a restful night’s sleep. My only other disappointment is that the last few times we stayed, they had a wonderful room espresso machine. I think it was Lavazza brand with Illy coffee. I was SOOOO looking forward to using the machine again. Instead, they hand you a little card that entitles two people to free coffee from the front. Nothing special anymore... Not sure if we will stay here again. Mainly because of the lack of soundproofing. Maybe a different floor...if we do come back...…
I want to really thank Batorl even if I apologize for mangling the spelling. She was the best to get us in early and make us extremely comfortable and be helpful. As was all the staff. It is a wonderful boutique hotel for BH. We stay here each visit and am reminded why upon each return. Thank you
We stayed 4 nights, great modern boutique hotel..very friendly helpful staff great location. Lovely rooms and exquisite bathrooms with amenities. Lovely touch of free coff in the morning, glass of wine in the afternoon/evening plus a home made samosa. Easy walking distance to rodeo and other hotspots .
The room was small but serviceable. It was extremely quiet which I had asked for. Interesting touch giving free samosas and wine daily. Slowest elevator I've ever experienced but life isn't that short and it just added to the charm.
