Lovely boutique hotel - perfectly located - love the outdoor pool setting. The hotel has everything you need with a restaurant on site and heaters by the pool for outdoor winter dining. It is my “go to” hotel whenever I am in town. Really appreciate the free morning coffee to start the day!

Upon arriving, we were greeted by Teena at the front desk, and hearing it was our 48th anniversary, invited us for some Champagne after getting settled in. We kept in contact with her during our 3-night stay, giving us restaurant recommendations and taking care of our needs in the room. Randy, the bartender, poured our drinks (generously!) and made our dinner which we ate pool-side. House-keeping staff was also very friendly and accommodating, seeing to our every need. The premises are kept neat and clean; the pool was especially nice. Maxine made, and delivered to our room, breakfast on our last morning, which was excellent. The hotel is away from the busy traffic of Wilshire and Santa Monica Blvds and so is relatively quiet and private. Safe parking is available at all times on the premises although a bit pricey. Teena gave us a tour of Maison 140, the nearby sister hotel to Mosaic, where she alternately works at the front desk. She is very friendly, hospitable and efficient. She even exchanged cooking tips with us. Thank you Teena and staff for making our stay so enjoyable.

My wife booked this hotel for me and being the husband of a 30 year hotel veteran she has taught me a few things to look for. This hotel hits the mark on everything. Their staff is second to none and everyone makes you feel so welcome. Their cleaning staff is amazing as I even saw the porter cleaning the footboards in the public areas. The server in the restaurant was top notch. I was on the phone with my wife, when ordering my breakfast and she was impressed listening to our conversation about just what I wanted for breakfast. She was so happy to hear top notch guest service, she said... you're staying there every time you have to go to LA for business. Thank you Josh, Michael, Lilly and the young man who provided me wonderful service at breakfast (I'm sorry I forgot your name). You allowed my very last minute and quick trip to be enjoyable. And my wife thanks you for taking good care of me while on the road. I will be back soon! And we are already recommending your property to friends.

We stayed at the Mosaic Hotel for several nights in January, and while the majority of our stay was pleasant, the showers and small details of this hotel were lacking. In fact, we contacted the management after our stay and never heard back, which seemed be in line with our guest experience.
The hotel is a small, European feeling boutique hotel in a fantastic location, very close to all the Beverly Hills shopping and attractions. The lobby and guest rooms are tasteful and nicely appointed. The front staff is quite nice, and a shout out to Lilly who was wonderful. Normally we’d consider this a 4 star hotel, but the small details make this closer to a 3 star.
It was the small details; dying or dead flower arrangements all around for days, lack of electric outlets near the bed, overpriced food and drinks with limited service, overpriced parking. However, the worst was the shower pressure was practically non existent, even given California’s low pressure water requirements. We could hardly get wet or wash our hair.

Upon arriving to the Mosaic hotel for an important appointment, we found refuge in the comfort, charming cleanliness in the Mosaic Hotel's modern but vintage ambiance. Josh the Manager and his colleges Mike and Memo made our stay extremely special due to their ability to communicate with such genuine care, listen and go out of their way to understand our needs. The housekeeping team boasts above par excellence with their attention to detail in cleanliness, making our stay emotionally and physically comfortable. They are true professionals in hygiene hospitality! In the morning Memo served us a light warm buttery croissant with a delicious cup of hot coffee that took us back to our memory of the Cote d'Azur as we sat by the pool outside - a charming space. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower was like a rainfall of bliss once again in an immaculate space. The Mosaic for many reasons is a true gem and is special because of the people who manage it. The property exudes quaint comfort in today's time and space in our world and it's apocalyptic changes. There is still the Mosaic - a boutique hotel with a fabulous aura and light felt energy. Thank you to the Mosaic staff once again and we hope to see you again someday soon!

We recently visited The Mosaic for a two-night stay. The location of the hotel was excellent, on a quiet street just off Wilshire and a stone's throw from The Peninsula where we had business. Our room itself was fine, and quite reasonably priced by Beverly Hill standards. However, the room was right next to the elevator and directly across from the housekeeping station, which disappointed us considering that the hotel did not seem to be hosting very many guests during our stay. Couldn't we have been assigned a different room? Accordingly, it was noisy outside our room, particularly in the AM with the housekeeping staff doing their thing and the trash pickup outside on Monday morning. Speaking of housekeeping, we did not receive any housekeeping during our stay, and we were never informed that we would not be nor were we asked if we might like to have housekeeping during our stay. In addition, we booked a room rate as part of which we were to receive breakfast, but I don't think the restaurant/bar was even open during most of our visit, a fact that nobody mentioned to us when we checked in. And, we were charged a mandatory "urban bundle fee" of $30 plus tax per day which was said to include a complimentary welcome drink (which we did not receive) and "other valued added amenities" to which I have no idea what they are referring to because as far as I can tell we got nothing. And finally, we were charged $50 daily for parking which was neither valet nor was it even secured parking. So, all in all, not a bad place to stay location wise, but I do not like it when a hotel makes promises that they can't keep and doesn't even have the courtesy to tell you about it or apologize for their shortcomings.

We appreciate the feedback. While were glad that you enjoyed our prime location and comfortable accommodations, were disappointed you had such challenges during your time with us. We regret the problems you had with the sound levels in the rooms and that your stay didnt exceed your expectations. Its unfortunate that your room was not refreshed to your liking. We are also disheartened to hear that there was some miscommunication about our associated fees with both parking and our Urban Bundle. We care about the comfort of our guests so well address your concerns with our team moving forward. We do hope you give us another opportunity to share a more positive experience with you soon.

I booked Mosaic for two nights to be close to LACC for the golf open, based on location and cost compared to other hotels in the area. I saw mixed reviews on this site so was a little apprehensive but I needn’t have been. We had a lovely welcome, staff were very pleasant and friendly and our room perfectly adequate with a comfy big bed. Parking was easy and attached to the side of the hotel and we felt very safe in that area. We went out for dinner both nights in Beverly Hills about 10-15 mins walk away near to Rodeo drive and Beverley Wilshire. Minor things that wouldn’t put me off staying again, the shower did seem to get water all over the floor and there is a strong scent in the corridors of either cleaning materials or air freshener, it could be worse. It was lovely overall for the location and price.

I want to start this review by saying all the staff on reception were excellent, and a special shout out to Lily who helped us through a tricky situation with our airline and rearranging flights due to an emergency. She went above and beyond and helped us out in a way we really appreciated.
As for the hotel, it was fine, and of course I understand that Beverly Hills isn’t known for being cheap, but we had to ask to move rooms because ours smelled bad and was very noisy from air con and the elevators, the drinks at the bar were absolutely extortionate, and some of the lights in our room didn’t work. So if we’re being charged at these kinds of rates, we would expect better than that. Beware the hidden charges - it might be commonplace in the USA but it took us by surprise.

Was in town for business in July 2020 and was originally booked at Mansion 120 but was moved over to Mosaic as I absolutely loved this hotel! The staff was amazing and the rooms were very modern! The whole property felt super clean! It was nice to have the morning coffee bar downstairs to grab on my walk to work every morning. And I absolutely loved the texting feature to get anything you needed sent to your room outside your door safely! I utilized this to get extra toilettes to my room during my 30 minute walk back from work and everything waiting for me outside my room. And when I requested my room to be cleaned in the morning by text as well to come back to a nice clean room in the evening. The only thing that would have been nice is more food options but I understand its not exactly possible during these times. I want to thank Lily, Joshua and Mike for making my stay wonderful and always welcoming me back or wishing me a good day at work and getting to take the time to know me and ask what I do. This place has a small family hotel feel and I love it! Will definitely stay again when in the area!

This use to be my favorite hotel in Beverly Hills. I have stayed numerous times but this stay was horrible. I understand COVID has changed things but the rooms had a horrible smell, filthy carpet, furniture and lighting falling apart, bedding stained and torn and the hall ways were lined with dirty dishes that were there day and night causing a disgusting smell in the halls as well. I asked to change rooms (which is such an inconvenience) only to find similar issues with the next room. I checked out and went to another hotel the next day. I called to speak to the General Manger- Drew Berry on 3 different occasions. He never returned my calls. I hate writing bad reviews but this hotel has deteriorated to the point of no return. At least they could clean it. It needs a major renovation but they could clean the carpets, figure out the smell that other people have written about make sure the halls are clean. Do not stay at this hotel until you check out a room for yourself.
