This hotel is the best of the best. The rooms are generous in size, and the beds are ridiculously comfortable. But what really makes this place stand out is the staff. Everyone is very friendly and aims to please. Everyone greets you and many staff remember your name and preferences, so service is impeccable. Also the spa is amazing.
I visited the Beverly Wilshire solo for a spa treatment and I was blown away by the customer service. Every single person that I interacted with was so incredibly nice and it really did make my day. The spa service exceeded my expectations- I got the cryotherapy massage with Nim and I would highly recommend! I lounged poolside afterwards and felt like overall I had a very welcoming and wonderful experience.
We have stayed at four seasons all over the world and have never experienced anything like this. Check in started off poorly with long lines and rude front desk staff—credit card machines did not work, no warmth or personalization, rudely told that our rooms were not ready. Maybe just a bad start, hotel busy with Oscar week, nope! We booked adjoining rooms for our family and were told that only one room was ready. An hour later I receive a jarring rude phone call saying the adjoining room we booked is still occupied and the guests are refusing to leave but they might move to another room but not until 7 pm? I said are you serious and the woman who called me said she was doing me a favor and why was I being so rude. Unbelievable. It’s now 6 pm. I go back to the front desk—still no help, they say hotel sold out I just have to wait for these guests to leave room. Unbelievable. I said well could you at least comp a drink or dinner in the bar while I wait? They did manage that and had lovely service in the bar. Now it is almost 7 pm and still no room! I go back to the front desk, literally in desperation like where is my family going to sleep? Are you charging me for a room I can’t even access before 10 pm? Finally we say do you have a non-adjoining room available and they say oh sure, but you never asked for that! For the love of God I’m at my wits end at this point. No one offered that, they just kept saying the hotel was fully booked. So now my family is staying ten floors apart, my “balcony” room is on 2nd floor with all the sounds of the pool and no view. Walls are paper thin. Smelly food left in hallways. Just shocking to be made to feel completely unwelcomed at a Four Seasons especially at these rates. Not a 5-star experience on any level.…
There was so many choices in BV, and I'm glad that we picked this hotel. We stayed for one night that exceeded our expectations. We arrived early and the service we received was outstanding. The room (1 bedroom suite) was clean and spacious and available early. The location can't be beat for walks along Rodeo Drive. The hotel is beautiful and fun to be in. The bar/restaurant was a very good experience too. My only regret is not catching that the gratuity was already in the bills before we doubled it and signed.
The hotel room had leftover food and unhinged closet doors. The soap and shampoo dispensers were all large bottles that looked like they had been acquired at Costco and not changed with each guest. I would avoid.
The definition of 5 stars - perfect hotel location for shopping, all staff go above and beyond, food choices are phenomenal and I’d recommend anyone spend a night here. We stayed in a Rodeo One Bedroom Suite for four nights - tons of space, great if you like doing in room dining and had beautiful bathroom. It was close to 900sqf (especially large for BH) and offered large couches, extra closet space and stocked amenities. All staff were great, especially valet and housekeeping. The little things like being acknowledged by your name despite it being a larger hotel makes you and your guests truly feel special. The spa left mixed opinions - my massage was good, my wife’s was not so much, which steered us away the rest of the trip from going again (unfortunate as it was rainy and we would have liked to book a few more massages). I am curious to see if the Spa reaches out, but in our experiences, a Theragun isn’t required for a Swedish massage and the amount of explanation as to why my wife should use it in the massage along with the history and science lesson wasn’t relaxing nor enjoyable for her. Room service was prompt, even during peak hours and dining at BLVD for breakfast and a few lunches/brunches surpassed our expectations.…
I am not sure how much this hotel values their guest safety. While waiting for our car to come up from the parking garage someone approached my wife and made unwelcome comments to her. When I told him to step away and we were not interested in talking to him he became overly aggressive and belligerent. Not wanting to escalate the situation we ignored him. Finally, he decided to go into the hotel. The worst part is that hotel employees witnessed the event but made no effort to ask the guest to leave us alone. Could have turned out much worse. After going and telling hotel management about this I heard nothing back from them.
The hotel is very basic and average. Not 5 star and not 4 seasons the way we all know it! Staff was unprofessional, breakfast is expensive and not very nice. Moreover they have serious problems with financial/accounting department. They charged me 500Usd extra by mistake! The value for money is very low! Only location is good, that is it!
We stayed for one night and checked out early the next morning. Excellent professional team from the moment you pull up to the valet until departure. Our suite was refreshed but still has older light switches and HVAC controls. The room was very spacious but only came with a single sink bath. The amenities are all good quality and the bed was very comfortable. Room service arrived promptly in the morning and was presented like a top Parisian hotel. We enjoyed the hotel and will be back for sure.
Great hotel. Best housekeeping in 40 years of travel. I initially forgot to ask for a feather-free room. I called housekeeping to ask for a couple of feather-free pillows. Within 15 minutes a "team" of attendants were in my room to turnover the entire room and change out all of the pillows, comforters etc. For the remainder of my stay every time I would pass housekeeper, I would get a smile and an inquiry if there is anything I need.
