This hotel is simply exceptional. Second visit and desperate to go back again. Absolutely faultless. Exceptionally comfy bed. Fabulous Shower experience with big bath towels ! Love ordering turndown and extra amenities via Alexa!!! Great to get comfy in bed and utter the words “Alexa close shades and turn off lights” and let the Echo show do all the work. Delicious free breakfast enjoyed thanks to Diamond Status.
This is my favorite hotel in Beverly Hills. The hotel is beautiful, clean and well-maintained. The accommodations are spacious and equipped with everything to make your stay comfortable. The rooms are large, the beds are comfy, the bathroom is luxurious, the closets are large, the views are nice (with a large balcony), the furniture is new, and very comfortable. The staff goes out of their way to be attentive to your needs. This feels like my home away from home whenever I visit my LA family. A definite return next year.
My twin daughters and I always have such luxurious experiences here. The service is phenomenal. The hotel staff members are attentive and courteous. The food at Jean-Georges is divine! Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills continues to make the girls’ birthday celebrations worthwhile and is by far our favorite hotel!
I am a Hilton honors member and my experience at the Waldorf Astoria in Beverly Hills was beyond incredible! When I checked into the hotel, I was upgraded to a suite that had amazing views of the Los Angeles skyline. There were fresh flowers in the in the bathroom and incredible attention to detail. The staff was polite, welcoming and made us feel like royalty. Unfortunately, I wasn't feeling well and didn’t want to spend hours waiting to be seen in the Emergency Room or Urgent Care. So I asked to have a house call doctor come to the room. It was a wonderful experience and felt better shortly after the visit! My staycation/ Valentine's weekend was saved! A huge “Thank You” to the concierge for recommending AM PM DOC. They were quick to arrive, compassionate and caring! Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay phenomenal! I will be planning more vacations with you guys!…
The Waldorf Astoria has an interesting policy for Hilton members who perhaps want to stay there on points. The short version: This property has purposefully chosen to put those who book with points into rooms normally reserved for those with special needs (mobility, hearing, etc) in an effort to make a few bucks. Reserving these rooms ahead of times for able bodied points users and removing them from the pool for people who NEED them to book. For reference before I go into it, hotels set their points prices, and which categories cost what, so this is a fully conscious, purposeful choice by this property. Hilton's can set 'Standard' points values, and several levels of 'Premium' points rooms which cost much more and are usually nicer. At this property, however, the only Standard (cheapest!) rooms you can book are their various handicap accessible or special needs rooms. What this means is anybody looking to stay here on the standard level of points is forced to take available room inventory away from those with special needs, and the hotel SPECIFICALLY has planned it this way in order to try to make some bucks off those rooms for special needs they had to build. Have mobility issues and want to book a few days out? Sorry, inventory may likely show zero since reserved by people staying on points. The hotel does claim it will move people out of those rooms when they check in and into regular rooms (so why aren't those regular rooms 'Standard'?) but that doesn't change the fact that until that happens, those rooms are booked and unavailable for people who actually NEED them to book and the fact that the hotel has specifically chosen this practice of utilizing these special rooms in an attempt to make some more money and keep these people from booking -actual- Standard rooms in their inventory. This issue was raised with the hotel's general manager who does not care.…
This place is worth the price. The rooms are great, new, and clean. Mattresses are comfortable. Gym is nice. Rooftop JG restaurant is fun even when it’s cold and dark outside. The location is tiptop. The staff is very professional. Enjoy Beverly Hills.
Stayed here for Valentine’s Day with my free annual Hilton certificate. Got upgraded to a Deluxe Double Double room with Hills view. Room was wonderful - beds and bedding were extremely comfortable, technology worked flawlessly. Shades, lighting, internal controls were controlled by multiple in room switches and in-room iPad. Chrome cast to the large TV worked seamlessly from the iPad I brought - HBO, Amazon, all worked fine. Bathroom was luxurious - water pressure and temperature were all great. We were given small pastries, complimentary bottled water, and a $50 food and beverage credit upon check in. So, of course we went and had a drink at the rooftop bar at night. MAKE RESERVATIONS! Despite it being fairly chilly - the rooftop was rocking…thankfully there are heaters and blankets if you need… drinks were tasty and standard LA premium prices. The gym was large and boasted the latest Technogym brand equipment. It wasn’t crowded but got busy around 900am. It was too chilly to enjoy the rooftop swimming pool. Everything from elevators to pool deck required room key or Hilton app access (which was kinda cool). Hotel also had a free shuttle (large Escalades) that could shuttle hotel guests (pick up or drop off) within 3 miles. We didn’t get to use it, but we did walk to the Westfield mall (about 10 mins away) and Rodeo Drive (also 10 minutes away, but in the opposite direction). The Waldorf was nice and central to all the action. We also had brunch on the rooftop the following morning…Lobster burger and the Wagyu Cheeseburger…both were delicious. Lastly - service all around the hotel was very premium…everyone was friendly and offered to help us with bags and other items. Valet was quick and helped us load luggage at departure. Thanks Moiz at the front desk for the upgrade and the hospitality…was a wonderful stay and plan to come again soon.…
I couldn't believe I would find a fruit fly on my food. When I informed the front desk restaurant, she just simply squashed the fly on my plate and asked if I wanted to change the fruit. Then, a second later, the Supervisor came and said sorry, its just a fly that got in the fruit, as if like it was no big deal! Are you kidding me? With this hotel's caliber and considering its a 5 * hotel, it's normal to have a flies? They write it off my bill since it's a right thing to do.
5/5 in every single way. The staff are discreet and professional. The rooms are exceptional with amazing amenities. We stayed as a family of 4 and enjoyed the rooftop pool with incredible views. Shopping is close by and the hotel food. And drink is reasonably priced. We will 100% be back.
Firstly I am a regular traveller to Beverly Hills and usually stay at the Beverly Hills Hotel (last visit June 2022) which is an exceptional experience with flawless service. However the cost has become eye watering this past year. Which is why we decided to try the Waldorf Astoria on this visit (Jan 2023) as it was only for two nights. First impressions were good, friendly check-in experience and our room was larger than expected and very comfortable. Then unfortunately it all started to go downhill. On our first morning, there was no table at breakfast for our group which included two hungry children and the staff seemed very uninterested in solving our predicament. To make matters worse it was pouring with torrential rain and we wanted to stay in the hotel to eat. We asked the bell staff for two umbrellas to walk to a nearby diner, and they were all gone, once again no attempt to assist. We returned to the hotel in the afternoon at 3pm, to find that our room had not been serviced. I called room service and housekeeping promptly arrived but took over 1.5 hours to clean the room and we had to make ourselves scarce. Due to the rain, the rooftop was closed so we were forced to sit in reception with two tired children. There was also no turndown service which is an expectation at a five star hotel charging over $1000 per night. At check-out, when our car arrived to take us to the airport, our bags had mysteriously disappeared and were found in a cupboard. No words. Unfortunately the hotel has no soul and the staff are just going through the mechanics. Guests are not made to feel special, you are nothing more than a number and I kept getting asked my name and room number. This doesn't happen at the BHH! We were also charged $700 for a transfer from the airport to the hotel when we agreed to pay $400 which is already ridiculously high. The driver tried to claim that our flight arrived an hour late, which was a bare faced lie. The hotel did kindly refund the difference once we gave proof of our flight arrival time. Pros New, large, clean rooms Dyson hair dryer Alexa smart room comms Large bathroom with separate toilet Complimentary hotel car within 3km radius with friendly drivers Great views over BH and rooms have large balconies Cons Housekeeping Restaurant staff. Food was average btw and expensive. Black film in bathtub Small shower and door swings the wrong way Bathroom toiletries were stingy...one small shampoo and conditioner for 4 people Uber drivers can't find the entrance Unlikely to stay here again as there are many better options.…
