Save yourself and stay anywhere but here. I had a paid reservation but they have the most convoluted check-in system you've ever seen and couldn't get it to work after almost an hour and a half of trying. And it's not like there was a line -- I was the only one (should have been a message there). Very tired from a long drive, I finally helped myself to a room. Desk called the cops, 8 of whom showed up banging on the door, and threw me bodily out of the hotel. Worst hotel experience I've had in 74 years. If you're looking for a boutique hotel in Beverly Hills, Maison 140 is very good.
Great stay. I most likely will be returning. It’s located perfectly in Beverly Hills so that I can walk to the different places to eat and shop. The staff was extremely Hopeful, pleasant and willing to do anything to make my stay wonderful. , Strongly recommend.
Location of this property is so central and is a few minutes walk to Rodeo Drive, and the highlights of Beverly Hills! The property is well managed and the staff is super helpful. Will be back again:)
The hotel room was very clean and sanitized. The location of the hotel was great for shopping, site seeing, restaurants, marketing and metro locations. The staff people were very knowledgeable about the area regarding the aforementioned statement above. They were also very personable and professional. I encourage others to lodge at this nostalgic hotel with pictures of movie stars and musicians.
I could not have been more pleased with my stay at Sonder at The Crescent Hotel. The location in Beverly Hills was absolutely perfect. It's a very walkable neighborhood and we had easy access to Whole Foods, Starbucks, excellent restaurants, a fantastic gelateria and of course, shopping. The service at the hotel was excellent with a very hospitable and caring staff. And the valet service was top notch too. The room was well appointed and the bed was super comfortable. We slept very well each night and woke up rested each morning. Overall, an excellent stay and a tremendous value for Beverly Hill. We'll be back.
Less than 24 hours before my arrival, I got a weird text saying I couldn't stay at this property and would need to be moved to Santa Monica. When I touched base with a customer service agent they said it was a glitch and I could definitely stay at Crescent. The day of my arrival, 14 minutes after check in time, I was called and told I couldn't stay due to a maintenance issue and that they could only refund me, not walk me to another hotel. This was insanely unacceptable, because I was literally blocks from the property. Why had no one called in the morning? Or the night before? Or even just in the afternoon? Why only after check-in time? I feel they overbooked and just cut me off because they could. So the end result of booking at this property was the reservation getting cancelled, having to rebook somewhere the day of, and paying $600 more. Oh, and the customer service promised me some credit for the issue, but that's never come through, and the second time I called to inquire they said a manager would only get back to me if they determined my issue was worth resolving. Do NOT stay with Sonder.…
Easy to find and located right on the corner of the street. I wouldn’t personally bother with valet parking as it will cost you $30 per time you use it. Directly opposite is a public car park that is $16 per night- which is where the valet park your car…. Do the math. Key code is text and emailed to you to gain entry to the building if the door is closed before you arrive. Friendly check in. Couple of steps to the reception so be warned if you have a heavy case. Room: Code text and emailed to you before arriving to gain access. No keys to lose. Small and does the job. Clean. Tv didn’t work. Or that I was in the room much. Comfy bed. View from window was literally a dumping ground out the back but again, not in the room much and curtains were drawn. Bathroom. Basic and clean. But…. The cistern was constantly going and very loud. Didn’t sleep the first night because of this. Reported to cleaner and reception. They fixed it but it started again as soon as you flush the toilet. No sleep again. It was only a 2 night stay so didn’t bother again. Walking distance to so much. Rodeo drive is just behind. Lots of nice little restaurants too. Overall I would recommend if you’re going to be out and about a lot. It’s a good base camp for sleeping and keeping your belongings there.…
This was absolutely the best stay possible in the very heart of Beverly Hills. Our family has travelled from different parts of the country and we couldn’t have picked a better hotel. 2 blocks away from Rodeo drive and yet it felt like a small oasis away from the busy hustle of restaurants and shops. Tastefully done interior of each room, and we had 5 of them, we’re slightly on a smaller size, but only added to the European charm of a boutique hotel. All rooms and common areas are decorated with an exceptional collection of celebrities photographs that I have never seen before, and I love photography! Amazing experience was topped with an unexpected treat - the hotel restaurant alone is worth traveling for! Incredible Mediterranien food from breakfast to dinner - I felt bad leaving the hotel for all the previously made reservations. Tons of highest end famous restaurants around. Keyless stay is becoming my favorite ever. Highest marks and best recommendations! Run and stay there.…
First time I stayed in this hotel chain. The Hotel is in the center of all that Beverly Hills has to offer. The hotel is well appointed and designed for the discerning traveler. Loved the check in process and easy check out. Will definitely stay here again!
I stayed for three nights. The location is very convenient, just a few blocks away from restaurants and Rodeo Drive. The room was small but clean. No USB ports so bring your wall charger. The building is old so it can get noisy at night; you can hear steps and conversations from the rooms above you. The staff was friendly and always willing to help.
