Beverly Hills began as a modest village years ago and today you can still feel its small town origins, even though it has become a major tourist attraction and business center for the entertainment industry. This town lives up to its reputation as an area full of designer retail stores and residential streets lined with mansions and palm trees. Inside the commercial center of Beverly Hills, along Rodeo Drive, droves of
tourists peak into ultra-luxurious boutiques hoping to catch a glimpse of someone famous. Off of Rodeo Drive however is where some of the most affluent Angelenos occupying the streets of Beverly Hills come for leisurely meals, power lunches and beauty treatments.
There are several restaurants within 30 mins walk and pretty safe. Uber is quick and very affordable. Don't bother trying public transport in L.A. The receptionists are extremely helpful and can give help you need. Enjoy!

I'm not sure about the hop on/hop off bus, but Rodeo Drive and West Hollywood are both walk-able form this hotel. There are many restaurants and cafes on Melrose Avenue is West Hollywood that we walked to from the hotel. (Verve Coffee, Gracias Madre, Alfred's in the Alley, Sur, Craigs, Catch LA, Tortilla Republic and more). We used uber or lyft for anything further away such as Hollywood and Santa Monica.
