How would you like cockroaches in the room and underperforming housekeeping in a 5 star hotel??? They just didn’t clean the room sometimes. I wonder if Sochi hotels have their own rating system that doesn’t comply worldwide standards. Location and facilities are however descent.

The breakfast was good, friendly staff's, good facilities plus the charming and lovely atmosphere. Also, it is very close to a ski lift and a big shopping and amusement center.

At the hotel with my Russian fiancé who had a bad fever, called main reception who said there is a doctor at block C but she doesn’t visit the rooms, we had to walk over to block C and ask reception who would guide us there, fair enough so we made the ten minute walk over there. The two lady receptionists had the worst attitude you can imagine. First they said that the doctor had gone for the day, second they said they don’t have a first aid kit and even if they did, they wouldn’t give it to us because of their regulations, third once they finally understood they have a doctor on place in te hotel they suggested we walk down to their pool area and try to find the doctor, instead of calling and helping us locate her. How can two young ladies who has nothing to do in an empty lobby at 11pm, be so unhelpful when another person is in pain and has very obvious problems? The staff in this hotel does not only have NO CLUE about their own safety procedures and availability but also are obviously NOT AT ALL trained in normal service standards. This is not what anyone should have to endure at a five star hotel.
