Resort appears beautiful.....but. Beach loaded knee high with stinky seaweed, the whole beach, all day, all night. Pool closes at 7pm? They guard towels like Fort Knox, but still no towels available after 2 pm. Literally. The staff is guarding the place night and day,...More

No coffee makers or kettles in the rooms, large water, soda and beer restocked in your fridge every second day. You will need a power adaptor. Casual dress in the buffet was fine and we were allowed in the a la cartes with flip flops. My friend wore shorts every day, and the a la carte restaurants seated us on the patio for dinner, which suited us just fine. I am a snorkeller, as mentioned the beach has a small roped off swimming area mainly I think to keep the drug peddlers in the bay from coming up to the beach to harass guests. I booked a snorkelling trip through our Sunwing rep at the hotel, I think the cost was about $100 US per person. They took us to a reef offshore and the snorkelling was fantastic. Free bar for the duration of the cruise and Jamaican beef pattis for lunch. I had a great day. Finally, there was about 3 feet of weeds along the shore at the beach, I wouldn't go in without water shoes but I was bitten on the toe by a crab once and I'm just wary of the weeds now because of it.
