The Inn at Benicia Bay was a wonderful surprise find for a perfect, romantic getaway in October 2020! The home, furnishings and property are beautiful and the Owner/Innkeeper Tracee is so nice and very accommodating. We stayed in the Commandant Suite on the lower level of the property which has a dry sauna for two and a Jacuzzi jet tub for two. Was perfect after long days of adventures, very relaxing and romantic! If you’re looking for a special occasion getaway in a beautiful setting you won’t be disappointed with the Inn at Benicia Bay! They also have a large garden/courtyard area that I enjoyed relaxing in for a couple of hours with a book and listening to the birds. It would be the perfect setting for a wedding or special occasion to celebrate. Benicia Bay is a very charming waterfront town that we had never been to and look forward to visiting again. Friendly people, great shopping and restaurants and ideally located for day trips to Sonoma/Napa wine regions and Muir Woods National Monument. Thanks Tracee for welcoming us to your lovely Inn Halloween weekend, we can’t wait to come back!…
I had a beautiful room at Benicia Bay. The bed, room and bathroom were all very pretty and comfortable. The area around the Bed and Breakfast Inn was very lovely and interesting for walking. You could walk to the bay or you could walk to shops. I had an excellent breakfast. It was a very quiet place to stay.
This was our third stay in the third different room at the Inn and was excellent as usual. Each room has its own character but all show the same love and care. In this time of Covid19 the rooms are "overstocked" with amenities such as coffee, tea and toiletries. As we were there when the wildfires were roaring not far away, Tracee made sure we had N95 masks to protect our lungs when out - a step beyond in caring for her guests. The breakfasts provided by the Java Point Cafe were outstanding but we eagerly await the opening of the Amore Bistrot as we have become friends with Massimo and Sonia too. Benicia is a beautiful, historic town with wonderful places to eat and the Inn is convenient while being on a quiet side street. We will be back.
My stay at the Inn at Benicia Bay in the Commandant's Quarters for the night of Sunday 08/02/20 was beyond exceptional, and beyond anything I could have wished or hoped for. Tracee, the owner and hostess, is very warm and personable. Tracee also introduced us to Massimo who is working on the Amore Bistrot and gave us a behind the scenes peek of it and it is beautiful. The care she and her husband put into the Inn is apparent from the moment of arrival, and her love for the Inn and hospitality is inspiring. The Inn is immaculately clean inside and out. Treats, amenities and toiletries are thoughtfully placed and we had more than we could ever want. Complimentary extra coffee and delicious snacks were available in the parlour as well. The real luxury was the private en-suite dry sauna and jacuzzi, both of which functioned and smelled great and were a real treat to achey muscles. Thank you Tracee for defining true hospitality. We can't wait to return again and enjoy Amore next time!…
We spent a short one night in the Inn at Benicia Bay; a quick birthday getaway. The Commandant's room was lovely with many surprising amenities; sauna, double sinks in bathroom, spa bathtub. Even though it is downtown, it was very quiet and restful at night. The only drawback was the lack of a breakfast service at the inn. This will soon be remedied with a renovation that will provide a new kitchen for breakfast and for an authentic Italian restaurant on the site. We were given a breakfast gift card at a nice little place only a block away, and had a nice breakfast. We plan to return.
