I have had a hip surgery, I booked a downstairs room. The manager checked with me frequently to see what I might need. The breakfast on a tray to our room was delicious and worked perfectly. I invited my God Daughters who live in Benicia to come do art projects on the charming patio. Besides all of this, the place is adorable and full of charm. I am booked on Thursday this week!!
The Inn at Benicia Bay is a gem, and we can't wait to come back. We got married in Benicia in June 2022, and all of the bridesmaids + me and my now-husband stayed at the Inn at Benicia Bay. We did all of our wedding preparations at the Inn, and held a farewell breakfast in the beautiful courtyard the day after the wedding. From the day we wandered in and met Tracee 10 months before the wedding, we've had an incredible experience. Tracee is so kind, attentive, and communicative, and even invited us to visit the inn the week before the wedding so we could walk through the rooms and talk through details. On the wedding weekend, Michael was manning the inn, and he was incredible. Like Tracee, he was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, and went way above and beyond to make sure we had an amazing stay. The rooms themselves were beautiful, the courtyard was gorgeous, and the breakfast from the Italian bakery/restaurant were incredible. We can't wait to come back!…
The Inn is a charming and welcoming haven - and a great location in Benicia. We stayed in the spacious and pretty Jack London room downstairs. Tracee thought of everything to make our stay so pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, the grounds are lovely and inviting, and the bistrot is an added bonus. We were in town for a family event - hope to stay again soon and spend more time at the Inn, and downtown Benicia. We highly recommend the Inn!!
We had an amazing time at our recent visit at the Inn at Benicia Bay. The staff were friendly and extremely helpful. The Cafe served up amazing food and drinks. Breakfast was a nice touch to our stay. One of the things that really impressed us was the grounds themselves. Beautiful inside and out and they have really been able to create a peaceful vibe. Will definitely go back for another stay.
The Inn at Benicia was one of the best B&Bs I’ve experienced. First, the location can’t be beat. It’s a short block or two to the water in either direction. Downtown is just steps away, yet the inn feels like another world. I stayed in the Commodore’s room, a sunny and spacious well equipped comfortable room with seating, a large screen TV, and a roomy bathroom with an oversized tub. Everything was immaculate. The inn itself is unique. On the west side is a beautiful garden patio with seating. It is so pretty that it is used for weddings. On the east side of the inn is the outdoor seating for the in house Italian restaurant, Amore Bistro. At the time of my visit the restaurant was serving lunch and dinner outside or inside in the cheery dining room. I invited my cousin over and we had a delightful lunch of authentic lasagna and a glass of wine. The restaurant owner is a delightful woman who greeted us warmly. The innkeeper, Tracee, is congenial and helpful. Each morning she delivered a tray of a delicious cornetto and a latte to my door. The inn’s small lobby is tastefully decorated with comfortable seating and good light for reading or games. I visit family in Benicia every few months. I’ve stayed at both hotels in town and the Shorelight Inn. Hands down I prefer The Inn at Benicia. I’ve already booked my return visit.…
We rented 2 rooms for the night. We had a very large suite downstairs and a large and comfortable room upstairs in the original home. Both where very clean and breakfast and coffee is included. It was offered to brought to your room in the morning or eat in the garden or dining area. The location is walking distance to shops, restaurants and the water front. We would return again if needed.
I like staying in Benicia because downtown is so quaint and the restaurants are nice. I stayed at the Inn at Benicia Bay and was blown away by the hospitality and attention to detail. Tracee was an amazing host and my Wife and I could not have been happier. We will be back for sure!
We took a staycation and couldn’t have booked a better place. Tracee was very welcoming and made sure all aspects of our stay were taken care of. The room was very clean and the decor made you feel you like you were in a movie. Downtown Benicia is a wonderful place with restaurants and shops. Breakfast from Amore Bistro was delicious. We plan on coming back very soon!
We visited on 2/11-12/2022. I found this cute little gem while Searching for a hotel room with a hot tub in it. I’m so glad we found it. It was all I had envisioned and more. Only 20 minutes from home but felt like we were a world away from our daily hustle and bustle. We went for long walks which we hadn’t done in years. We watched the boats at night. We went back to the water during the day to admire the beautiful views. It is located within a 2 minute walk of the water, shops and restaurants. It is a 1 minute walk from an awesome massage parlor that we went to in the late evening. Best choice we made second to booking a room at the Inn at Benicia Bay! The morning breakfast/latte from the Amore Bistrot located on premises was so perfect and yummy as well. The owner Tracee is awesome. So hospitable and nice. She even emailed me back the day before when I asked her about food recommendations. It was a long and thoughtful email about her top 3 choices as well as her fave foods there. We went with Sailor Jacks, which was amazing as well. We stayed in Commandants Quarters. It had the jacuzzi tub I longed for as well as a sauna. Loved them both. Very comfy bed. Nice sitting area. Decor is perfect for the ambiance/time period of the house being built. Amazing books to read in the room as well as in the guest sitting lobby. We will definitely be back again for a weekend getaway from time to time. Thanks again Tracee.…
My husband and I stayed at The Inn at Benicia Bay for several nights. The location is adjacent to the main street of the city and easy access to coffee shops, boutiques, the waterfront, restaurants and the yacht club. The room we stayed in was clean, roomy and comfortable. It featured the bedroom area, a sitting area with microwave, refrigerator, and coffee and tea maker. The bathroom had a jacuzzi, shower, double sinks and a sauna. The linens and towels furnished were thick and lush. Each morning a breakfast of fresh Italian baked goods, yogurt, juice and coffee and tea were delivered to the room. Tracee and her staff do a fine job provided an experience to make this a home away from home.
