Ants in the bed the manager comes off rude like we did something wrong by telling them what we saw never will ever come back I wish I could put a video it’s a whole village of ants in that room right where u lay your head
This spot was so expensive for one night, I could not have any guests over and they crashed a car parked right in front of our door. The people were so rowdy outside and the breakfast was cold and the hotel attendee was very rude.
We stayed here for four nights, it was musty in the shower and it seemed like we had very noisy next door crew in and out all night. Don’t know what they were up to. It’s cheap and if you have a car you can drive down to the metro blue line park and ride. It’s also close the the North and South freeways. Bell the area is pretty rough as well, the bed was uncomfortable enough and cleaned. We didn’t have any Breakfast because it was in the lobby very small and standing room only with the care taker watching on.
A lot of the reviews I read about this hotel prior to booking had complained about the run down state of the location it is in and also that there are a lot of Hispanics in this area. Well pretty much anywhere you go in the US you will fine a lot of Hispanics and as I am lucky to speak Spanish I don't have a problem (although the majority who are in the service industry speak English with no problem) and everyone that I have encountered on my holidays to America have been super friendly and helpful. I would agree that the area in general isn't the best to look at but it is very well placed to access the freeways and was close to Long Beach where I wanted to go. Loads of good restaurants and shops in the area and the man who checked me in was very helpful with advising me on the nearest chemist as I had hurt my wrist. I was travelling on my own and I didn't feel unsafe at any point. My room was fine, nice comfy bed, all important fridge & microwave and a decent bathroom. Parking was ok too. For the cost of the room I couldn't complain and I have stayed in much dearer hotels in "better" areas in LA and paid a lot more for a lot less. Would def stay here again.…
Make sure life will not happen if you book with them. I dropped wallet at airport security checkpoint. So I was denied a rental car because my drivers license was in Baltimore and the fastest they could get it to me was Tuesday morning so I had no way to get to bell so I had to get hotel that had shuttle from airport. I asked Diamond Bell to move my reservation until Tuesday and Wednesday they said they could book those days for me but I would have to pay again and that I was out $260 for the nights I couldn't get there. Of coarse U said no to additional night since they took my money. I have no problem with that If I just never showed up but it would be good customer service to move the nights under the circumstances. Because it cost me $168 to have the wallet shipped to me and the $260 diamond bell took from me I could no longer take my daughter to Disney.…
