I definitely wouldn't describe the Belden Town Resort & Lodge as that - it's more like a worn down motel. If you're attending the High Sierra Music Festival or meeting or are a Pacific Crest Trail (PCT) hiker then this might be the place to stay because it was clean and the location is perfect located on the PCT and... We drove up the Feather River Canyon and the views if you haven't done this drive are stunning. In the summer there are various spots to swim when the water is high. It had just rained so the amount of waterfalls was amazing after a good rain. Call Cal Trans to make sure the road is open as it is... More

My best friend had her wedding at Belden Town. It's an interested place. Initially, we were told that the whole place would be "shut down" for the entire wedding day. When we asked again a few months later we were basically laughed at and told "yea right! That's going to cost you!" Wonderful.. So we were going to be dealing... More

We very much enjoyed our stay at the Belden Town Lodge. Our room had been freshly painted and was clean, quiet, and comfortable. As brojay73 said, it's somewhat rustic, so if you're expecting a resort with spa treatments and gourmet food, you should keep driving. But if you want a casual place with a very friendly and helpful staff (they... More

What an interesting town/resort. We loved the drive over the one lane bridge, complete with the Belden sign with a martini glass on top! We were told it even lights up at night! Went into the bar, and there is so much stuff to look at. The bartender told us about the history of the newest owner, and the festivals... More

Well... It's an interesting place to stay. I'm thankful we had a place to stay - Four Walls and a Roof. I'm not going to give it a Poor rating, because, well, it worked out fine - as my expectations were pretty low and I was glad to not be in a tent for this fishing trip. We camped alot... More

I go there frequently with family and yes its rustic but its just what a family needs to reestablish family bonds. A flowing river with great fishing, a restaurant, a bar with plenty of choices, or you can cook your own meals. Plus all the scenery and tranquility a body can handle...Go to Beldentown folks its not the Waldorf-Astoria but... More

Met my adult kids here off the PCT. Room with two queen sized beds had just been renovated. Yes, there were cockroaches, but they were little and cute. They seemed to like the light on my phone. I got in in the middle of the night and some guy emerged from a trailer and was sweet and helpful about finding... More

My fiance and I were looking for somewhere (anywhere) to get out of town and spend a night elsewhere. Belden Town seemed like a place to start. It's off the beaten track for sure. I think we picked a bad weekend to be there because the manager was celebrating his anniversary with a bunch of his friends. It's no exaggeration... More

The end of the leaf peeping season first weekend of Nov., the place was quiet and still had most of the golden autumn foliage left: big leaf maple, black oak, willows, cotton wood, wild grapes, dogwoods, and flaming red Indian rhubarb by the creek. All glistening in the gentle intermittent drizzle. We stayed in Cabin #3 overlooking the swollen North... More
