Live in Granny's attic or Santa fe you'd love the well decorated rooms. Each room was nicely decorated, well lit and we maintained temparature. The rooms are all morro bay facing where you could watch the awesome view and see some people do kayak in the morning. The inn offers free breakfast in the mexican hotel next to the facility.... I wanted to recommend the Inn because my wife and I had a very enjoyable stay. The area was quiet and peaceful and we were able to unwind and relax. The reasons I cannot recommend the Baywood Inn are the following. First, it's not a true B and B. It's a converted two story office building. There is no central... More

I had won a two-night stay at the Baywood Inn in a charity raffle. Read the reviews, booked the stay, wasn't sure what to expect but we were delightfully surprised. We stayed in the Americana suite on the second floor. Nice view of the bay. Large sitting room with a fireplace to take the chill off and a good-sized bedroom.... More

Us and another couple stayed here on the night before we went to Hearst Castle. We had the suite with 2 king bedrooms and 2 baths. This room also had a living room between the bedrooms. The rooms were nice and they were clean. The management was generous with snacks and bottled water and juice in the rooms. Breakfast was... More

This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are beautiful and artfully decorated per each theme. The view of the bay from m the Santa Fe room on 2nd floor was much appreciated. We live in a coastal town (Carpinteria) so when we go away it doesn't feel special enough unless we have a fabulous view. The... More

The Baywood Inn was our last stop on a wonderful trip we took down Highway 1. It was the perfect place to spend our last night. We thoroughly enjoyed the free wine hour at the restaurant next door, La Palapa. In the morning, we had a voucher from the inn for breakfast at La Palapa, and it was delicious! We... More

We stayed in a second floor room called the Appalachian. The room was decorated In a rustic fashion. Carpet looked clean and room smelled clean. The furniture was willow and rough hewn. It was very nice to have a microwave and a small fridge. The television worked well but, was in the living room. So if you like to watch... More

This unpretentious Inn on the back bay of Morro Bay is a jewel. The staff is very helpful and friendly and we found many unexpected amenities. The location is great for seeing and visiting the nearby Montana de Oro, Morro Bay, sand dunes, etc. Good breakfasts included.

I stayed in the rose room and had a wonderful time with plenty of room, comfortable bed, and a great view of the bay. A refrigerator and microwave are also available with goodies from the inn. Everything in this town is within walking distance. Breakfast at Back Bay Cafe or Palaps mexican resturant. Both were great.

I would say this place is more of a small motel/inn with close breakfast availability as opposed to what we think of as a traditional B & B. We were in the Manhattan Room 101 which had a great view of the beach and bay. The room was lovely with ample space, a raised comfortable bed area and bath. The... More
