Chalet 4 is to be avoided at all costs; if you book ask what chalet or lodge you are in, if they say 4, forget it. It is difficult to find and is either down two flights of steps from a ski slope angled driveway, or up twenty or so steps from the main road. They direct you by way... More

Loved this one stop shop on beautiful Bass Lake. We walked into a well stocked general store to rent a patio boat (pontoon boat to Michiganders) and kayak. The employees moved through the paperwork efficiently, explaining the contract, traffic patterns on the lake and lake rules. Boat and kayak were clean and in good condition. After a couple hours of... More

We stayed here for two nights while other family members camped in the Forks Campground. The cabin was perfect for one family (2 adults, 2 kids). We were in Cabin 12, which had a lovely view of the lake and was very quiet. Many of our family members staying in the campground came to visit us there and wished they... More

Great chili burger. 75th year owned by same family. Food and service were excellent. Love eating out on the patio over looking the lake. Girlfriend had cheese burger and totally enjoyed tremendously. Split on fries which were also terrific.

My sister in law booked this place for us to meet for a 4 day stay. She told me it was a cabin, and yes it looked sort of like a cabin, but ii was more like a home. Very nice lay out, clean, and has pretty much everything you could want. But hey, we usually are in a tent,... More

The Forks resort was recommended by a trusted friend and I was so happy I took her advice. Not only did it save me $500+ by not staying in Yosemite for the week, but we were perched on a lake during 4th of July overlooking spectacular fireworks with the entire community. It was the quintessential American experience. We spent three... More

We stayed for four nights at the Forks Resort -- you could tell that the cabins were recently remodeled with brand new bathrooms, new flooring in kitchen and bedroom. The cabin was clean, updated and had everything you needed to prepare your own meals. I do agree that the road in front of the cabins was a little noisy, especially... More

Awesome resort, great staff (Heidi is amazing!), awesome fishing. My son and I caught about 10 large bass in less than 45 minutes!! The cabins are really cozy especially the one bedroom model. Perfect for my little family. The burgers are amazing!! Our cabin had an amazing view of the lake as well. We will be back next year for... More

We stayed at the Forks Resort for our trip to Yosemite. We wanted something out of the park and quiet. The Forks is on a nice lake, but it is very busy. Check in was easy, but no one seemed happy we were there... Our cabin was #9, which was right above the restaurant and shop... and the garbage cans.... More

Cabins on a lake: Clean and comfortable. Polite staff. Good restaurant food. $200 a night (suite) in September. 1.5 hrs from either Yose valley or King's Canyon/Sequoia. No Housekeeping. You bring in your towels for clean/dry ones. You take out your own garbage, and you act like a civilized human being in exchange for a fine place to rest. Refrigerator... More
