The only option for miles around, it's expensive for what you get, but it's better than sleeping in the car, and actually better than it has to be. The building has good bones and it's clean, quiet and safe, no weird smells. The couple running the front desk told us it had just been sold to the Alien Jerky guy...

This evening I stopped at the Wills Fargo Motel for a room. It appeared as if I was the only guest, and the hotel rooms had little outside lighting. A room, with only coffee available in the morning, was $80. The dog fee was $50. I thought that was far to much, both for what the $80 gave the guest,...

On our way home to San Diego from Utah. No places available in Las Vegas probably because of Labor Day weekend so stopped at Baker and a room was available. It was average, clean but needed maintenance such as replacement of worn fixtures.

We were aiming for Barstow, but traffic was horrible- 2.5 hrs to travel 40 miles- it was late and at this rate we wouldn't reach Barstow until 2 in the morning (that's what happens when you leave LV late on a sunday night- don't do it, just don't do it.) So, desparately hoping we would find a hotel in Baker...

First not much choice of motels in baker. Looks like their all out of business except here. First motel run by a nice couple.motel is old and needs some refreshing. Rooms are clean without much decor. This is a fair budget motel in the middle of many restaurants

Literally the worst motel I have ever seen. I've been all over the world and this was by far the grossest and worst. We stayed in room #3. Dirty, cheap, broken, a sad sad place to try and sleep. We even thought about driving somewhere and sleeping in our car instead but we didn't know how safe the area was....

Stayed a week with family (four of us) in Room 29. Room was simple, but clean and quite adequate as home base for our desert exploration trip. Coffee and danish available every morning. Internet service was a bit spotty though usable, but okay by me as we were there to disconnect anyways. One note would be that their is not...

I am prompted to write this review as a response to another review which I believe was incorrect and unfair. We reserved by phone after being unable to find anyplace available following a very long day trip to Death Valley. The room was clean, the towels were clean and fresh, the king size bed was comfortable, the sheets were clean,...
