|Our first stay in Dominica and what a hotel to stay at. The views from the balcony in the morning, during the day, in the evening, any time! When it rained, the rainbows were amazing! Dinner was good and tasty, but you needed to order your drinks first as service was so slow, if at all! The bar staff were really sweet but did not fill you with confidence that they were going to brink your drinks, sometimes it was one at a time so rather inefficient and frustrating. Breakfast was delightful with huge passionfruits, eggs, bread, toast, fruit, juice, tea, coffee buffet. You had to watch out for the cheeky banana quits (birds), who'd steal your fruit or sip your juice while you turn your back. There was a short walk down to the beaches. The sand was super soft and the sea warm. If not, there was always the hotel pool. The room was spacious and the bathroom very small especially the shower, but all working well. It was a good location for exploring local touristy destinations - Roseau, sulphur springs, whale watching). Don't miss the chance to go bird watching with Dr. Birdy.

I went to the restaurant here for a part of my partner's birthday celebration and we loved it. Annette was so kind in providing the option of choosing our special dinner beforehand. The homemade rumcake I purchased was so delicious and my partner was satisfied. Stefan who was serving us was pretty great also. Will definitely return whenever I am on island again.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The owners were SO nice and accommodating. It is a little out of the way, so unless you plan on having all your meals here and doing tours with the hotel (both of these things would be just fine), you may want to consider renting a car. I dove with the shop they contract with (East Caribe Dive) and LOVED them. It is a short walk to the shop, easy to do. I was also able to do an afternoon with the hotel. They were also so kind to help me with transport from the airport and to arrange a rental car after my stay was over. I would have liked to stay longer but they were fully booked (I only booked a week before arriving). The room was very comfortable, with a fridge and AC if needed. I used them very sparingly. The hotel is so eco minded – it’s really great to see. No straws, no extraneous plastic cups. They also encourage guests to do the same. I brushed my teeth with the water and didn’t have an issue. I did drink bottled water, but it sounds like it would actually be okay to drink. In the evenings I really liked sitting on the terrace in front of my room, watching the sunset. The drinks were always great at the restaurant. Overall, I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again! One note is that the wifi didn’t worse

The hotel needs updating. The website pictures give a different impression. The rooms were old but ok. There was mold in the shower. The staff was pleasant and accommodating. The restaurant on the property was a plus. The room price was not worth it.

I’m glad we stayed here for 2 days but without a car, it’s hard to go anywhere without taxi. Food in restaurant was so good although a little pricey. Loved the view and the doggies. If the beds were softer, it would be 4.5. Only Eco place we stayed and the property was well cared for. Great bathroom!
