We came here on our honeymoon and we were so excited to be getting away from rainy England. We arrived at the hotel, checked in and there was nothing special provided in our room. To which we had mentioned to TUI when booking. On arrival when we got there, they told us we had been given king size bed as an incentive for the honeymoon…. A week later in we got sick of being pestered every single day to book a private meal (which is $150 plus extra for branded champagne) excursions or by the market & jewellery stall guys!!! I rang and complained about the constant persisting and how we weren’t happy that we got nothing special for our honeymoon. They told us that they’d look into it. 5 minutes later there was a knock at the door because they wanted to put a banner across the door. (Yes this was 7 days into the the vacation) A week in that just doesn't cut it ! We eventually got a nice private meal (on the house) which was lovely but it took complaining to get this! The music by the pool is far too loud and the guy on the microphone is constantly talking over the music is very annoying!! No seriously, absolute rambling all day every day! And the music by the DJ is by no means enjoyable. Entertainment is awful same music you are hearing all day by the pool so all very repetitive. We enjoyed the Madonna tribute the was one of the best things they put on in an evening. On a positive note, we’d like to say that Carlos at the swim up bar was amazing. He made the best drinks and was always happy to see you. Yari at the Spice Bar was so lovely and made some lovely drinks, which were better the main bar in the lobby. The Spice Bar drinks were lovely where every else here is watered down. The Hunters steakhouse and Sushi restaurant do really good food out of the 4 restaurants. Personally I would avoid the others. Buffet food has good options but it can be repetitive if staying more the a week. The spa was amazing the one place you could switch off and relax. The treatments were amazing and we ended up going twice it was that good! It was clean and most of the staff were as helpful. But it definitely wasn’t the trip we was expecting for out honeymoon. In fact we were very disappointed and felt that we did not have the honeymoon that we had been planning for a year in advanced. Would we stay at this resort again? ….absolutely not.…

Ana was amazing as the Diamond Club Bartender! She made the best drinks and took care of us! We made sure to visit her during her 3-11PM shift. Our butler Ronald was top tier as well. They made my experience great!!

I came to Royalton Chic to celebrate my birthday and it was nothing short of Amazing. Everyone there was extremely nice and the resort was clean. This was my first time doing the upgrade to Diamond Club and I Would say it’s well worth it. Out Butler was Teudi and he was beyond anything we could ask for. He always greeted us with a smile around the resort and even chatted with us no matter what he was doing. Kept up on our reservations for us and just sent us a time which made it so easy. Melissa in Diamond club was super helpful. Yuri and staff from the restaurants came out and danced and sang Happy Birthday to me. That was so thoughtful! Yahritza in the lounge area and Ruth were so fun and smiled every day I saw them and even greeted me with hugs. They knew our drink choices and always made sure we were taken care of. Jose was our waiter for my Birthday dinner and her did an awesome job. Reynaldo a Diamond Club Supervisor was also a huge part in making my trip what it was. We had some issues with our room but they made sure it was taken care of and we were accommodated for any inconvenience. The food was pretty decent I personally like a buffet because so many choices. But the Steakhouse was our fav personally. Our swim out room was amazing and I loved that the resort was just enough. Not too big or overwhelming where you can’t get to everything easily. It was just great and they are truly like family. And can’t forget the staff over at the spa! That was an incredible time as well. Please tip people! Everything was fantastic. Highly recommend Teiudi as your butler! Rooms were great, pools were great, and excursions were so much fun. Definitely recommend Royalton CHIC and Teiudi as your butler. 10 out of 10 in my book.

Took my daughter on this trip for a college graduation present. Upon on arrival we were greeted by the man working the front gate with a “welcome home” and by every single staff member whenever we passed them. Teudi (AKA Mr. T) was our personal butler/concierge who assisted us with absolutely EVERYTHING we needed. He was excellent! We communicated via WhatsApp which was extended convenient. Each morning I would get a “Good morning” message from Teudi asking how my day went and if there was anything we needed. He provided us with the schedule of events for the day and made our dinner reservations. I was impressed at how quickly he remedied any issues. On one of the nights I needed assistance after hours and even though he was gone for the day I was able to message him and he called up to the resort to make sure I was taken care of. Throughout the day Teudi would come find us on the resort to check-in and see how we were enjoying our stay and if we needed anything. The resort was beautiful. We stayed in the Diamond Club in a swim up suite which was beautiful. Our suite was right across from the main pool/bar area and right along one of the main walkways. So if you are looking for privacy you will not get that experience with these swim ups. However, it was conveniently located by the bar and snack station “Munchies” so it was easy to get food and drinks brought right to you. I enjoyed the Aqua Fit classes daily and the entertainment crew. Carlos was my guy! I took a Spanish class taught by him one day and a dance lesson (bachata) during the day, which I was able to use at the night party. Carlos was also very personable. Each day he would greet me in Spanish (since he knew he taught me) and check on how my day was going. The staff at the Diamond Club (Angel, Juan, German) were awesome as well. Ms. Rosa working the bar made sure we were well taken care of. We ate at all the restaurants. Make sure to make a reservation with your butler to avoid long waits. Weather tips: It was VERY humid in September and lots of mosquitoes. Bring bug spray and you can ask your butler to have your swim up area fumigated to help some with the mosquitoes. I got the pleasure of having Joan López assist us with our stay at the Royalton Chic Hotel. Mr. López went above and beyond! Our stay went smoothly and comfortably. We were able to enjoy different excursions outside the resort, thanks to Mr. López coordinating them. He kept us updated on different events we could attend at the resort. He made us feel welcomed, like family. I won't go into details, but Mr López even went out of his way to make the impossible possible. Joan López went above and beyond! He was very helpful and friendly!

Recommend upgrade to Diamond Club to get extra perks: Private lounge / reserved beach area / reservations to restaurants/ butler/ room service etc… MANY THANKS TO: Juan Carlos Feliz - amazing yoga instructor must try Mr. Chely - great aqua instructor - good workout Ramirez (oh my Jesus) The Vibe team had us dancing away with great entertainment Butler: Juan always made sure we had what we needed and reserved everywhere for us Must try Tandoori Indian restaurant excellent. The Diamond Club is the way to go! The staff is amazing. Rossy is the absolute best butler and made sure every experience was a good one. She checked on us constantly. The resort is beautiful and a quick trip from the airport. Entertainment every evening was also a ton of fun!
