Nestled in a picturesque and secluded spot, Zoetry Agua Punta Cana is lauded for its serene atmosphere and pristine cleanliness, with guests consistently admiring the immaculate grounds and well-kept beaches. The resort's amenities, including a luxurious spa and diverse dining options, receive high praise.
While the spacious rooms offer beautiful views and privacy, some guests have noted maintenance and noise concerns. Despite the friendly and attentive staff, a few travelers cite the resort's value as underwhelming due to premium costs and occasional service inconsistencies.

This was the most relaxing place that I have stayed at. 5 stars is not enough. We were only there for 5 days. I wish we would have stayed longer. The hotel itself is small (about 90 rooms), so you don't feel like a number. All of the buildings have palm-based roofs -so no loud echoes - even in the lobby. Our room was outstanding as well. The maid service checks on the room frequently. There is no night-club and there is no casino - which keeps the resort calm. The younger boisterous crowd (you know - that one guy who gets too drunk or loud, or the overrun at the pool bars) just wasn't present. Since low volume – when we checked in or out, we were the only people in the lobby – smooth and uneventful. ( • Truly excellent staff, good service. o Our concierge Jose Simeone was far more attentive than I expected and helped us with a few things. o We went to a wine class, run by Santiago. He went to school for this. I learned some interesting things in his class. o Lady, Sory, Oliver, and Fernando (Waiters) were excellent and always had good suggestions o Starlin at the swim-up bar makes perfect drinks. • No lines for food (ever). The restaurants were at most 1/2 full. o Good selections at the restaurants and good variety. (The steak for example was larger and of a quality that is more than you would expect at an all-inclusive) • Room service is always operational. • The Spa was outstanding. You get a complimentary 20-min massage with your stay, additionally my wife and I each got a deep-tissue massage and she got the hot-rock massage as well. o Livia was her masseuse – and my wife is still reflecting on how skilled she was. o Santa was mine – she found spots that I did not know were sore. My wife and I plan to return to Zoetry Aqua this coming summer. Rather than checking out another place, and rolling the dice, we know what to expect here and are looking forward to returning.

Beautiful place, lovely staff, very good food. We really enjoyed this hotel which has 96 suites in a large, very well-maintained park with a beautiful beach. The 4 restaurants and two bars allow guests to be distributed so that there is no waiting or concentration of people in the same place.

Overall, we had a wonderful experience. The property is beautiful and well maintained. More importantly, the culture of service feels authentic and ingrained, even though some staff we spoke with had only been working at the property for a short time. The room was comfortable, very clean and fully functional. The shower fixture, temperature controls and pressure were perfect. Bottled still and sparkling water was plentiful. BVLGARI amenities were a surprise and delight! The enormous bed was a little funny at first, but proved extremely comfy and useful, as my wife and I kept slightly different sleep schedules and didn't bother each other at all. The spirits selection at the bars was impressive and never left me wanting or feeling like I'd been given something cheap. Nighttime activities were just enough fun without feeling like a party resort. The special buffets were the standout food experiences, including Dominican night, Mexican lunch and Asado dinner. The beach experience was excellent, with just enough attention from servers and beach vendors without feeling pushed or bothered. Staff keep the beach clean and free from too much sargassum or driftwood, which is plentiful farther down if you want to go see it. The horseback riding was a lot of fun. Security staff on the beach at night and early in the morning making sure everyone is accounted for and safe was a nice thing without being intrusive. I was psyched that there were reefs with reasonable tropical fish species to see while snorkeling right off the beach. Constructively, service in the restaurants was too slow and the food quality was as good, if not better, at the buffets. Breakfast and lunch should not be a 90-120 minute investment, which was the case for both meals we took at Amaya and the one at Indigo. In-room-dining was near perfect, with every item we ordered being accurate, high quality and delivered precisely on time by a friendly and accommodating server. The only other issue was pool temperature, which I found a little too cold. Thanks for a great vacation and I will recommend your property to my friends who are considering Punta Cana. Keep up the good work!

My mom, 2 sisters, and our husbands (7 total) had the pleasure of visiting The Zoetry for 7 days.
Pros:
You feel a sense of relaxation as soon as you arrive. The scent of the lobby and the friendly greeting makes you confident that you are getting best in class service.
You are assigned a concierge that will make sure you have everything you need for your stay. In our case, we had Harlem. He was at the top of our highlights list. He made himself available for any request he had control of. He made us feel at home and part of the “family”! Even if something wasn’t necessarily his responsibility, he went out of his way to ensure we were happy.
The food is delicious. You can tell the chef loves to cook delicious dishes. The rotating menu of restaurants was such a fun concept and we loved almost everything we ate.
The events that they have are very fun and they have something for everyone. Between the spa (we had the most amazing massage and trip to the sauna), the horse back riding on the beach, classes such as hat making and cigar rolling, yoga, and different tasting activities it seemed like there was always something to do in between relaxing in the pool. We were even able to take place in the holiday tree lighting ceremony, which was SUCH an experience! Harlem made us feel so special during that.
The servers are very eager to make you happy and do it with a smile. We had particular great experiences with Joel and Wilca at the bars and Marceleo when we went to dinner.
The maid service was a big plus for us. They were quick, tidy, and great at turndowns.
The beach was beautiful. They make a great effort to clean out the seaweed that has washed up on the beach, which makes it actually usable and swimable which was a great perk. The seating is very comfortable and relaxing.
And lastly, it really is just a breathtaking resort. You are immersed into a world of relaxation and beauty.
Cons:
The resort is not handicap friendly. My mother relies most of the time of her wheelchair due to her health and the stone paths and stairs make it difficult to navigate with a wheelchair. This also made it difficult for her to get in and out of the pool.
The tiny mosquitos. The resort does a lot to help with this problem like providing their own bug spray and spraying the resort every morning, but I still got bitten up.

“Welcome Home” is the greeting as you enter Zoetry Agua Punta Cana. And it is so true, it does feel like home.
My wife, daughter and I just returned from a 7-day vacation from this fabulous resort and it was well worth every minute. Words can not express the friendliness of the staff or the relaxed atmosphere of the resort, which is a wellness style retreat. We booked a swim out room with two beds, and we were situated in a perfect location within the resort itself. As we are Muslim and my wife wears a hijab, the room was situated in a private area that allowed my wife some much-needed pool time! Also, all of the alcohol was removed from our room as we do not drink alcoholic beverages.
The food was delicious. Again, as we did not eat meat (i.e., halal) but the seafood, vegetarian and fruit dishes were very well prepared. There is no buffet style dining because the food is prepared as ordered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Needless to say, it is personalized service. The breakfast menu at Indigo Restaurant very tasty, and the fruit plates are very fresh. The three dinner restaurants serve a variety of food every night, including Italian, Mexican, Caribbean, Medittarean, Asian and Dominican. Our first night was an open BBQ along the beach with fish, seafood paella and salads. I should also mention the wonderful coffee and pastries at the café, as well as the 5pm teatime in the garden.
My wife and daughter loved the spa and treated themselves to facials and body wraps.
The staff and people in the resort are warm and friendly, they made our stay that much better. Wiris was our personal concierge and would greet us every day, providing excellent service whenever needed and guided us to the daily activities throughout each day. Leidy (pronounced Lady) greeted us every day for breakfast and lunch with a warm and heart felt smile, we truly miss her on return from our vacation. Papa Smurf and Happy were the activities personnel and would always look out for us, whether it was beach volleyball, ping pong at the pool or other guided activities. Yulia, Natali, Roselia, Oliver, Kimberley and so many others that served us during breakfast lunch and dinner were wonderful….thank you to all of them! And a special thank you to Andres who not only handled our luggage and provided our room preview but would greet me every morning during my morning running routine.
Special mention to Tito, the local beach vendor who sold us some nice bracelets and charms. He's a great guy too.
We will be returning to Zoetry Agua Punta Cana hopefully sooner rather than later.

Zoetry is a luxurious couple’s retreat. The resort exudes quiet and tasteful luxury..the beds are heaven and you can order the pillows you prefer. Rooms are stoked with all the amenities one woul have expected at this type of resort. The all inclusive package had four restaurants with sit down dining. No reservations are required at ant of the restaurants and the staff are all friendly, professional, and perfectly trained to make each dining experience a delight. Leidee and Anna were two of hostesses I would like to single out. Confessor was an amazing waiter, and the manager at Indigo could have worked at a five star restaurant anywhere. Our concierge, Alejandro was amazing. He checked in with us multiple times during the day, and he worked six hours beyond his shift when we had an emergency. I have never before seen this level of service. We greatly enjoyed all of our meals at the resort. The international menus are designed to please everyone. From sushi on the beach, to Neapolitan pizza fresh out of pizza oven at Olena, you will find everything you want. The grilled fish at the Mediterranean restaurant took me back to the fish I had in Greece. Indigo features fabulous view of the pristine beach, palm trees, and Caribbean ocean. If you like to participate in activities, look to Roberto. I have seen other reviews that state they did not find top shelf liquor. This is not true! The guests who were with us commented on the fine selection. We will definitely be visiting this retreat/resort again. We chose this resort in part because it is one of the few beaches that rarely if ever experiences sargasso seaweed. But it was the staff that will keep us coming back. The service here is superb.

If you are looking to get away from the crowds this is your place. The hotel is located in a very remote area about 1 hour away from PUJ airport. The surrounding area is jungle (no mega hotels nearby) and the Zoetry itself is very small. Leaving you with a very quiet relaxing vacation. If you are looking for a party atmosphere or large nightlife you would need to look elsewhere. However, if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing experience then this is your place. Majority of the guests are honeymoon and wedding anniversary guests. The only disappointment of the trip was the swim up room compared to other hotels. The swim up pools are shared with guests whom do not have swim up rooms. The stairs to get into the pools are not located off your room and there are chairs directly across from the swim up rooms for other guests to lounge and use the pool. I wasn't a big fan of walking out on my patio every day looking straight at guests lounging directly across from me. If you are looking for privacy on your patio I would look into getting a higher floor room to not have chairs directly facing you.
There is a wide variety of dining even for the picky eater. One thing to keep in mind is this hotel is 100% a la carte dining and there are no buffets. No reservations are required for any of the restaurants, Italian , Caribbean, Asian, Steakhouse, Mediterranean. The Italian was the most popular and some nights had over a 45 minute wait during peak dining time.
We had a lovely butler/concierge Wiris and if you are lucky to have him, he will make your holiday even more excellent. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable on the resort. We ended up running out of bug spray we brought and Wiris saved the day. The mosquitos are absolutely horrendous, and I recommend planning your wardrobe around them. Try packing longer pants, linen, etc maybe some light sweaters to cover up. All guests including myself looked as we all had chicken pox by the end of the trip. The resort does provide complimentary spray in your room, but it is "organic" meaning deet free. It's basically a mix of essential oils that the mosquitos seemed to love opposed to hate. I recommend packing a few bottles of "OFF" brand or something equivalent.

Dear guest Thank you for your feedback and the description and the description of our place. Indeed we are in a place a bit distant which makes it unique and special, not only because of the size, but also because of the vegetation you find here. However, it is a place where our guests will not want to leave if they are really looking for peace and tranquility. As for our restaurants and their menus, they are varied precisely to create variety and more options for our guests. The size of the resort and the profile of our guests does not justify a buffet when our aim is always to provide personalized service at all times. On the other hand, the Olena restaurant, which has the Italian menu, is in the process of being remodeled and its capacity will be increased exactly to avoid waiting time problems. Likewise, within the remodeling of the swimming pools, we're planning to put direct stairs from the room to the swimming pool of the swim up suites, precisely to avoid what you mentioned. In relation to the bugs, our headache, we continue to reinforce our fumigation. It is incredible that while some guests are really touched, others are not. I also recommend taking a B1 supplement before traveling. Finally thank you for your comments about Wiris who took care of you and pampered you during your stay, I will extend your congratulations to him. Nevertheless and althoug these issues all in we are working on, it will be a pleasure to have you here again. Best regards, Diana V Manager

The hotel has a different offer from most hotels in Punta Cana. It is a place to rest from the bustle, an excellent place of relaxation and peace. The staff is super attentive and authentic, especially mention Manuel our concierge, pending everything and Gilberto in charge of activities and programming who always appeared at the right time. The service is unmatched, everyone is very attentive and pending to solve any need, so do not correspond. What we liked most, yoga on the beach, spa, water circuit, the view of the pool is spectacular and always clean. The gardens are very well maintained and there are orchids throughout the hotel. The room service is very good and punctual, breakfast with the sea view is unmatched. Overall...very good experience!

I cannot stress this enough—do NOT book your wedding at Zoetry if you want a seamless and stress-free experience. My experience with the wedding coordinator, Albania Santana, was a complete nightmare. While she initially sold me dreams and promised to bring my vision to life, she ultimately mishandled almost every detail of my wedding and even misused funds from my wedding budget.
Albania and I worked closely together to plan my dream wedding, Although she presented herself as experienced and confident in bringing my vision to life, on the actual wedding day, she made significant changes without my consent. I specifically requested only red roses for my décor and even paid for a package that included exclusively red roses. However, on the big day, I received only half the amount of red roses and several other red flowers that I had explicitly told her not to include.
The issues didn’t stop there. • Music: My chosen wedding songs were not played as requested. • Food: Albania failed to communicate dietary requirements to the chef, resulting in vegan and vegetarian guests being served meat. This was incredibly upsetting and avoidable. • Decorations: Despite providing exact photos of my vision board, the decorations, were not what I asked for, and changes were made last minute without informing me. • Seating Arrangement: She did not follow my specific instructions for the seating layout. • Responsiveness: On the wedding day, Albania was frequently missing and inattentive, leaving my guests frustrated as they struggled to get her attention.
One particularly upsetting incident occurred after Albania assured me the remaining red roses would be placed in my room post-wedding. When I returned to my room, it was empty. I had to personally track down the flowers, which was an unnecessary and stressful ordeal. Additionally, Albania showed a lack of accountability! Unfortunately, Her pride overshadowed her ability to take accountability for her mistakes.
It’s worth noting that while Albania’s incompetence overshadowed the wedding planning process, the resort itself is beautiful. The grounds are stunning, the service is excellent, and the staff is friendly and engaging. My family and I enjoyed the activities and the intimate feel of the resort, as it has only 92 rooms, making it feel exclusive. I brought 32 guests, and we felt as though we had the place to ourselves.
However, there are areas for improvement. The food quality is inconsistent. While some dishes were great, others were Horrible! , and it’s clear that the chefs need additional training to handle international cuisine.
Despite the beauty of the resort and the fun I had with my family, the mishandling of my wedding left me with lasting disappointment. If you’re considering Zoetry for your wedding, I strongly urge you to reconsider. If you have questions of why you shouldn’t book your wedding with Albania Santana please don’t hesitate to reach out I will send you prove because no bride should go through what I went through.

Plus: Resort is beautiful, and acknowledge prior reviews on the pools, beach and grounds being high quality.
Negatives: as the previous review noted, service is horrible. Forget not up to five stars, probably the worst service ever experienced, even compared to low end motels.
For starters, our room internet/wifi was broken for two days through check out (Room 108). We could not access data on phones, so without wifi, we had no way to use our devices, including phones tablets, nor could we use hotel apps to contact hotel for service. We kept having to run back and forth to common areas to access. The room phone and TV also didn’t work. We repeatedly requested maintenance or to move rooms and despite repeated requests to multiple staff, everyone just said “will be repaired soon” to no avail. Again, this is supposedly a five star resort, rates at 1k a night. Next, housekeeping never left basic amenities, such as toilet paper or soaps. We had to find housekeeping carts to replenish ourselves. Finally, service at the restaurants were slow and the staff repeatedly got confused on orders. If this was a motel in the US, maybe no big deal. But for a five star resort at 1k a night, the condescending service attitudes, especially by the supposed supervisors, were surprising. The least they could have done was give us a different room, hotel was not sold out in our room category. Oh, the mosquitos are atrocious as noted by everyone.

Hello. We've been to Zoetry twice. It is very quiet and small; however it may be difficult for your parents in that it's not ideal for those who need assistance. The pools especially would be difficult. WITH THAT SAID, it has been a year since we've visited and there are some great upgrades underway. And I wouldn't want you or your parents to miss out on one of the most wonderful resorts for tranquility and service.
Unlike other resorts, you have access to one of the most wonderful and genuine resort managers, Diana Vallejo. I would absolutely reach out (direct email) to her directly and give her more details on your parents and I promise she would be transparent with you. I've relied on her many times and she has always fullfilled any/all requests and questions. So reach out and don't miss this opportunity. It's a fantastic resort. Hope that helps!
