What a pleasant and sweet surprise Hotel Rhea turned out to be. I don't think the pictures do it justice - even cuter in person. We stayed in Lizzie's Office and had such a nice stay. I brought my 8-year-old daughter with me and the two of us had so much room and were very comfortable. Bring earplugs because the train is very close. Thankfully, my daughter slept right through it, but it did keep me awake. The bed was so comfortable, the room was clean, and it felt so homey. Parking is available right next to the entrance and the little alley is painted with pretty murals.
We stayed in 2 rooms because we were staying with our large family. We stayed in the Hughes Suite and Lizzie's office. There was ample space for 8 of us. We had driven up that day from Destin Florida to visit Williams Baptist and we were exhausted. Upon our arrival, we called in food from a food truck and we just wanted to get to the room to rest after a long day of travel. We arrived the rooms were wonderful! We were so happy to have such a lovely place to rest for the night. When we got to the room we noticed that the food truck forgot to give us any forks and we didn't find any inside the room so we called Sarah and asked if she had any forks. She called me back and said we will be there soon. In just a few short minutes we had forks delivered to our door. They went above and beyond our expectations to make us comfortable and made sure that we had everything we needed. Our son will be going to Williams in 2023 so I'm sure we will be staying again! Hotel Rhea Thank You for your kindness!!!…
We of course had to stay at this hotel because Rhea is a family name. My son who will be attending college there next year loved the hotel. We chose the room with two separate bedrooms. There were 3 TVs in the space with one in each bedroom and one in the living area. There are gsmes to play. The bathroom was spacious. The sky light in the dining area was nice. There is a kitchen table and chairs to enjoy food from the area as well. This truly is a hidden gem and a favorite of ours.
My family purposely drives an hour out of our way to stay in this charming hotel. It is like stepping back in time and super cozy. The price is exceptional and is good for any type of occasion. Family or couples or solo. We adore it. Within walking distance to great eateries. Clean and safe and the hosts go above and beyond.
The room was large and easy to find. I enjoyed the amenities and location. The train was loud, but earplugs took care of the problem. The bathroom was large and easy to use. The kitchenette was stocked with coffee and had a fridge and microwave.
Spent the night at a super fun boutique hotel. I love buildings with character and this has lots to offer with exposed brick, extra wide trim, long windows and lots of comfort. It’s the perfect balance of enjoying an older building but with all the modern comforts. The suite was very clean. The bed was comfortable. Easy to find and convenient parking. Check in couldn’t have been any easier. Thanks for a wonderful stay. We will be sure to refer it to all our friends and family.
The suite was very clean and adorned very nice. And incredibly spacious. Reservation associate was great! Really only two issues. The iron railing bed made a lot of noises. Would highly recommend replacing it. It was comfortable; however, plenty of room for a king size bed. And with a suite as large as this one - a king size bed would make more sense anyway. And then the shower head isn’t adjustable and sprays to the back side of The shower near the top of the shower unit. Parking was very convenient and the hotel is perfectly located! The staff provides you with cell phone numbers so service is great! I would recommend this hotel to those looking to stay in the area.
I cannot express how quaint and charming and perfect the hotel Rhea is. Beautiful and historic with special touches everywhere. The beds were super comfy and was quiet and peaceful place to stay. Was like walking into a hallmark movie at Christmas time. Very clean and nice smell throughout. My kids and I loved it. Check in and out were a breeze. Will be going back for trips in the future. Was a wonderful place to stay.
The room was large and had a separate sitting room. The bathroom was good sized though the shower stall is rather small. Very very clean. Location is great. If you are traveling alone and nervous about staying in a place by yourself, probably not for you. There is no staff at the hotel. I'm pretty sure I was the only occupant in the building. Also, if you are a light sleeper you won't enjoy your stay. There is a train crossing very close. (I grew up around trains so didn't even phase me, just reminded me of home) There is parking that is off the street. There are some places to eat within walking distance. I really enjoyed the room and have let other family members know about it for visits in the future.
Very eccentric, love the atmosphere. Roomy and comfortable, very large bathroom! Downsides were lots of stairs to climb and very few extras (no flatware in kitchenette, no paper towels and very little toilet paper). So if you are aware and plan ahead it’s a very good place to stay, in walking distance of restaurants, etc.
