We’ve had an awesome time here! The food has been awesome, the staff has been friendly especially DORA the explorer! If it wasn’t for her friendliness and great vibes our vacation wouldn’t have been as awesome! Thank you Dora! And also shoutout to Vicki by the pool and Victor at building 7
We had the best time here. Upon checking in and visiting our room, we took a stroll and were immediately welcomed by Dora who made our trip. She was so energetic, lively and friendly. She made us laugh a lot til our face hurt and every day we stayed she continued the same energy and came to say hi. We also had an amazing time with the other staff taking care of the daily entertainment/workout activities like Pepe, Jessica, Brian, and Zyanya. The yoga in the morning is refreshing especially under the gym hut where they have fans and Zyanya leads with relaxing music. I also love the aqua bike class and zumba, the staff always brings the energy to the class. All the restaurants are delsih and the MJ show especially was also to die for! Thank you to all the staff who made our trip amazing <3…
Beautiful resort, great restaurants and daily entertainment shows and spa. Dora is personable, friendly and really brightens everyone’s mood—she has great energy and made my trip more enjoyable. Recommend it!
This is about my 6th time at the resort. From the food to the people to the activities, overall great. I would just suggest that for the main pool area, to have more beds under the shade. The best part of my stay was DORA!!! friendly, helpful, accommodating overall lovely!!!
The resort is amazing.... 5 Star for sure. This was our 3rd trip to VIRM and we most likely will not go anywhere else in Mexico. Rooms are a great size no matter which one you choose. Food is remarkable, especially for an all-inclusive resort. But truly what makes our trips over the top is the staff. From the minute you set foot at the Bell Captain as you arrive (best feeling ever) until you return there upon your departure (saddest day) you are greeted and served with smiles and service. Even the grounds keepers and maintenance staff smile and greet you every time! Let me introduce you to a few of our special friends. Jorge Cornelio at La Marche. We met him on our first trip and always ask for him. He is the most attentive service person you will ever meet. You have to ask for him! He is full of energy, always has a smile on his face, sings and loves his work. If you don't ask for him (and these others) you will miss out! Then there is Jose Ramone at l’Olivio (ask for Choco!). Like Jorge, this man exudes excitement and customer service! At Ginger, ask for Nalleli. She is a sweet heart and brings life to the dinner table. Another great server at Ginger is Vianny. She is super efficient and very attentive towards making your dining experience a wonderful one. When you eat at Taman Sari, the Polynesian restaurant, be sure and ask for Fabiola. What an amazing woman. She is warm, friendly, and ready to serve you in many ways. Her 13 years of experience there shows so well. Our concierge in building 5 was Florabet. What a cheerful and warm lady. We greeted each other all day and had some nice conversations. She was more than willing to attend to our needs and answer any and all of our questions. The bartender at Ginger was the best at the resort. His name is Diego. There are so many others we could mention, but these 3 have always brought a smile to our faces and served us with their amazingness. As for what drew us there originally to VIRM. Our best friends went there 13 times! Several of our other friends have been multiple times. Their experiences (and the fact we trust their evals) made it a no-brainer to go. We have never been disappointed even for 1 second. The beaches are great, even when the seaweed is slopping to shore. The man that drives the seaweed tractor is always ready to "pick it up" if needed. The huts for us "non-privilege: guests are fine. The servers on the beach are always less than 10 minutes on their rounds no matter how far down the beach you are. The pools are super nice. If you like the "loud crowd" the main pool is for you. Food trucks, pool games, 2 swim up bars and mucho people.... go for it. We go for the peace and quiet and to get away so when we go to the pool we go to the Golden Pool/Lazy River. It has a pool bar, servers always ready to get what you want, and you can order snacks. Did I mention Yolanda?! This lady has been there quite a while and even though there are thousands a guests that come and go each year, she recognizes us every time. My wife and I aren't quite sure what all she does but she is literally everywhere always busy, but not too busy to smile, say Hola, and ask if we need anything. I could go on and on about our amazing experiences at VIRM.... suffice it to say that as long as we can save our nickels each month..... this will be, as the staff says each time we arrive "Welcome Home".…
It was fantastic!. We have been to VIM 5 times and it is great every time! We have asked other guest if they have been before and some have been numerous times also. While making the drink “rounds” in the fantastic large figure eight shaped pool, we found a couple that had been to VIM 13 times, but there are some that probably have been more than. Every person we talked to, that said they had tried other places, said this was the best adults, all-inclusive resort they had ever been to. The great majority of the other guest are easy to talk to and want have fun and relax like you do. The grounds are beautiful and has kind of a tropical feel. If you want to walk to places you can to that or you can call for a golf cart ride. We have taken the bike tour before and it gives you a good view of the resort. We stay in building 5, but sometimes 4, because they are close to the beach as well the large pool with a lot of activity, and of course two swim up bars. If you like the more quiet type of vacation, they have swim-up rooms / buildings by a lazy river, that is relaxing. There are also some beach front buildings to choose from. The best thing about the resort is the staff. Everyone from housekeeping to the management is hard working, kind, and strives from the moment you get there to meet your needs and requests so you can concentrate on being on vacation! There are some vendors on site that offer off-site excursions and on-site water sports, like jet skiing. They have a photographer on-site you can set something up with. VIM is also able to accommodate weddings. There is a good sized pool for those that get the “Privileged Packaged”. It is separated from the large pool with some hedges so it is not as noisy, but you can still hear the music from the larger pool. We usually hang-out in the large figure eight shaped pool and go from end to end on our blue mat, and of course stop at the two swim up bars to get our drink mugs refilled, take a shot of something such as 1921 Tequila (yummy), get a “drink of the day” and of course a bottle of water . The large figure eight shaped pool has one end that is a little quieter, if you just want to just float on the mat or sit in a lounge chair and nap. The bartenders at VIM are great….just like their drinks. Since we hung out at the large pool so much we obtained most of our pool drinks from the quieter end of the pool from Veronica “V”, Uder and Alejandro and were never disappointed with what they provided. The beach is beautiful and you can swim in it if you go to the left after leaving the board walk. It is about 800 ft from the large, figure eight shaped pool. There are no other resorts that use the same beach area. There are cabana type structures with lounge chairs and the waiters walk up and down the beach to see if you need anything. There is a large variety of food and restaurants to choose from as well as good menu for room service. They have buffets as well as themed restaurants such as French, Italian, Mexican and Thia. The only one you need reservations for is the Hibachi but it is fun if you are able to do it. The activities “GO” Team does a great job running the fun activities at the large pool, such as the foam party, water exercises, bull riding and tequila tasting. The GO Team also facilitates the great nightly shows such as Michael Jackson, Circus and Mexican, in the auditorium, as well as the fire show by the main fountain. After the shows there is usually live music every night until about 11:00 from the “Valentin Imperial Band” that people dance to. I wish I could remember all their names but the present GO Team are made up of great people such as Isaac and Jessica and always make you feel welcome. There is one special person that use to lead the GO Team when we first started going to VIM. Her name is Dora. She now has a position in / or called “Guest Experience Services” which partly entails her walking around and making sure guests are enjoying the resort. We had not been to VIM for a while because of Covid and health issues, and had not seen her in 5-6 years, but when we saw her in the week of 21-28June22 she recognized us right away, and made our group feel at home. It is people like Dora that makes VIM a special place you should try. …
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! The food, the drinks, the service, the views - everything is amazing. The staff is so helpful. Dora and her team do everything they can to make sure you have a smile on your face at all times! Find Angel at the pool swim up bar, he makes the best cheesecake shots!
We’ve just returned home from our second stay at the Valentin. After our first stay we agreed we had to go back. After this stay we agreed this would be a yearly visit. It is legitimately one of the best resorts we’ve been to. The rooms, food, activities, service & staff are beyond amazing. If you by chance meet DORA while you are there she (as well as the other staff) will make sure you are having the time of your life. These people became family and their resort feels like home. Book and enjoy🤗
This was our second time at the Valentin Imperial Riviera Maya, and this resort never disappoints. We were there 5 years ago for our honeymoon, and decided to go back to celebrate our 5th year wedding anniversary, and bring along friends this time. It was such an amazing trip, between the great service, awesome drinks, delightful food, and fun entertainment, we had a blast. Our beach concierge, Francisco, was the sweetest most helpful guy. Robert and David, bartenders on the beach, were so much fun and were always on top of our drinks any making sure we had everything we needed. We spent breakfast with our favorite waiter, Luis, who was great as well. All of the staff were helpful and friendly, the grounds are so beautiful, the service is impeccable, and the entertainment was so much fun. We loved the shows, the band, the DJ, and especially the cello player at the French restaurant. We can't wait to go back again hopefully soon!…
I have to start off with the fact that the pictures don't do this place justice. The grounds are beautiful and peaceful. The staff aren't the standard "nice" you get at other places, they really treat you like dear close friends. Shout out to Dora btw, love you girl! There are tons of fun things to do and see if you get an itch to do so. Also, there are plenty of places to lounge and chill either in the pool by the bar making new friends or out on the beach under an umbrella enjoying a book and the ocean breeze. This was my second time there and I will be returning.
