We stayed here one night. We were right above kitchen and heard singing and tv. Bring ear plugs. Could not shower as trickle of water only so had to take bath. Which took forever to fill. Quite noisy as single pane glass and constant dogs barking. Paint on floor kept coming off and stck to feet. Food was okay. The...

Service is fair, but we needed to remind staff to bring more lemonade and chicha. A few dishes were ordered wrong. Beef was tough but nicely presented. Trout was delicious. We didn't stay at the lodge.

Like many others, we toured Maras and Moray and then came to Chinchero for the wool items and did a late lunch here. It was probably the best lunch we've had on our Ecuador and Peru trip. We could have made a meal just on the chicken soup and the purple corn juice. But I had a chicken breast entree...

Given Chinchero being a small town, This place is AMAZING. It's gated in, security. Nice big lawn on both sides of the casa to relax, has little sun shaded areas too, chairs. I had lunch here, it was really good so I planned to have dinner here as well! My room is huge compared to other place I've been, with...

My tour group stopped for lunch last week. They served a large group efficiently and the food was delicious, particularly the chicken crepes. The owners met when when they were working in Milan, Italy. Antonio and I managed a very brief conversation in Italian...halting Italian on my part. Kind people in a beautiful setting.

Lovely restaurant in Chinchero. Clean, friendly service, good food, freshly cooked with local ingredients. An oasis for travelers in the area. Didn't seem to be full of tourists. It is located in a lodge but we didn't see any of the rooms. It's a fairly isolated area near the sacred valley. Local weavers near by show their wares.

While on a tour of the Sacred Valley in Peru near Cusco, our guide suggested we stop for lunch here. As it was time, and I was getting both hungry and thirsty, we did I'm glad we did. It was not very busy (which always concerns me) but based on its relative obscure location, I guess it makes sense. Regardless,...

With a beautiful garden and a very real character to it, the first impression met the high expectations for this hotel. Unfortunately during our brief one night stay we found the restaurant closed, the place run by very keen and helpful Jonathan as a one man show, which meant despite all his effort and good intentions, not quite at the...

We love our stay at the Casa de Barro. The rooms were extremely clean and comfortable, Antonio and his Family were extremely attentive to every detail. Breakfast is one of the best I had in the Urubamba Valley. Great place to stay and go around all the valley sights. Many places to visit and do treks. I will stay again...

Our lunch at La Casa de Barro was arranged by our tour company, Kuoda Tours. After a morning of touring Maras and Moray, we stopped and enjoyed a great meal, with excellent service. Very colorful dining room and good variety of menu items. Would highly recommend!
