I stayed at Hostal Los Pinos in October 2011. At first I had booked a double room but since they did not have any, they gave us a suite for the same price. There is no elevator but going to the fourth floor and staying at the suite was definitely worth the exercise. From the suite I could see the... More

My family and I stayed two nights in oe of the top floor suites. We stayed over New Years. The 4th floor suites are like a mini penthouse and quite nice. The unusual decorations are actually quite expensive and elegant. Take a close look at the furniture and impressive art in the looby. . The owner is on site and... More

The staff were very friendly and helpful, wife and I had a great time there visiting the sites of the city. I liked it very much. While there, there were many demonstrations but all was great. The best place to eat La Sala's every meal we had was very tasty. I enjoyed the rabbit and the green soup the most.... More

We were able to snag a top floor suite in this hotel for under $50 a night including breakfast. The suite had a living room, kitchette/dining, one large bedroom, one small bedroom and a full bath. Had a terrific view; was incredibly spacious and immaculate. There appeared to be only two suites on the top floor. Be warned - there... More

I spent 4 nights at Los Pinos. The hotel is just two blocks from the Cajamarca Plaza de Armas, with plenty of good restaurants close by. The decore of the hotel was very grand, though the rooms were rather simple. The beds were comfortable and clean, there is 24/7 hot water, the staff was lovely and accomodating.

This is a historic building in process of renovation. We only stayed for the one night but were very happy and comfortable here. Breakfast was included in the price. The double room had an extra bed in it and we had plenty of room to sort out our things after a long bus journey. The bathroom was excellent, the best... More

Excellent little hotel in the heart of Puno. Friendly english speaking staff, big rooms and endless hot water for a bargain price. This is one of the best value hotels in south america
