But what impressed me most was the hotel manager, Ruben. I became a little confused about my receipts and was concerned that the taxi they called for me had overcharged me. Ruben IMMEDIATELY replied and check things out for me, within 48 hours. I was absolutely stunned at such great service (it turned out I was confusing receipts and had not been overcharged).
My experience was so positive that not only would I stay at the Fiesta Inn in Los Mochis again, but I did a bit of research online and see that it is a chain of hotels. I will go out of my way to stay at Fiesta Inns in Mexico from now on.
The taste of the food fascinated and surprised me. Well, you don't expect it, especially from that type of hotel.
(But the barbiquie chicken boules in buffalo sauce are incredible)
The cleanliness of the hotel is extraordinary, very good and it smells delicious that makes you remember having been or knowing one of the best hotels in the world.
The hotel service is also ok, they were able to change my room to a closer one to the hot water source, pressure was better and temperature just barely acceptable.
Breakfast if you are not Mexican is not good, 90% of the offerings are local dishes, only “international” dish was scrambled eggs I tried the Mexican dishes but for my personal taste they weren’t good. Also the price of their breakfast is $16 which I find unacceptable for the quality.
Overall I won’t be coming back and I strongly suggest you to stay away of this hotel and better try the ibis hotel.
We liked our stay, however a few things that could be improved: The bathroom is very small and the door makes the lack of space even worse. It also wasn't that clean, however when we complained someone came immediately to clean again. The breakfast is very good, however quite expensive (200 pesos per person). You might want to consider trying the breakfast buffet that is offered downstairs by the restaurant Boki for 99 pesos.
Food was good and is right next to a new shopping mall and a number of bars and cafe's.
Good parking and comfortable rooms.
Only gripe is there was some noise in my room on two days with what sounded like maintenance work going on for about an hour
The place bring you a good option to be confortable.
