The lodge is not at all as suggested in their Web site. The domain is actually quite small, the cabins are close to each other, and very close to the highway 60, which is very, very noisy. Do not expect to find there the quiet atmosphere of the Algonquin park which is suggested by the picture of the Web site!

We were lucky enough to stay in Killarney Lodge in Algonquin National Park at the beginning of August. This is ia truly relaxing break. There is a limited wifi connection in one area of the lodge and no televisions or radios in the cabins. This is ideal as it all helps to make you relax and get away from the... More

Spent 3 nights here in a shoreline cabin with my wife and 8 year old daughter. Cabin was good for our use with a double bed plus a pull-out sofa bed for our daughter. Large veranda over looking the lake of two rivers. For sure the highlight here is the use of your own canoe on the lake along with... More

My wife and I had stayed here once many years ago and now finally had the opportunity to return for our 20th anniversary. Killarney Lodge was even better than we remembered (and we loved it last time too). As the other reviews here state, accomodations are all in your own private cabin. The cabins are basic (no phone or TV---you're... More

This resort is lovely. Made up of cabins, all facing the lake and beautiful inside. Each has a private deck with 2 chairs and comes with a canoe for your use. Meals are included in the price and the food was really good, as was the service. There was a cabin for guests that offered free tea and coffee anytime,... More

A good place to stay whilst visiting Algonquin Park. It is quite a drive from the Western gate of the park but close to some beautiful hiking trails. Each log cabin is unique albeit basic (as would be expected) in terms of amenities. However, they are comfortable and clean and each has a view of the lake. Service is friendly.... More

The Killarney dining room is open to non-guests, and since we had wanted to see this lovely place, we stopped for dinner on our way through the park. The setting is spectacular (though marred by traffic noise from the only highway in the park). Our food was very good and the service was excellent. A stay in a cabin here... More

We stayed in Cabin #8 which was spotlessly clean, peaceful and very comfortable. We were facing out on the shore line. We had a small dock from which we could access our canoe for our stay. All equipment was included in our weekend package. Killarney Lodge is on Lake of Two Rivers and Beaver House Bay. All our meals were... More

My husband and I stayed at Killarney Lodge for two nights in June. The cabin was lovely, providing beautiful views over the water. The location is great, as it is easily accessible from the highway while providing ample opportunity to relax by the water, canoe through the lake, or hike one of the many trails closely. One of the best... More
