This resort has a lot of potential but fell far short. We saw the same one person staffing the reception, cooking the meals and serving. He was grumpy and not the least bit hospitable. Upon leaving, there was not even an inquiry as to whether we enjoyed our stay .... Cabin ample size but quite dirty: not just a little... More

My girlfriend and I were lucky enough to find this place online and stayed for a couple nights with our dog. The location is fantastic as it is only a few minutes from the Algonquin Park East gate. It is also right on a waterway for easy canoeing and kayaking which are available on site. The grounds have a communal... More

My wife and I stayed at the lodge for our anniversary. My initial reaction to the lodge upon arriving was a bit under-whelming as the pictures on the website are a little misleading. However, once we walked around and across the road, down to the water and rapids, we got a little better feeling. The cabin we booked and paid... More

Totally enjoyed this lodge WITH our DOGS :) We were met with a smile and had an awesome time. We stated for 3 nights in the larger cabin and have to say Ken and Penny are the most down to earth people. We had the chance to spend our time away with our dogs and enjoy the peace and serenity.... Super enjoyed this get away went for 2 nights of seclusion. The cabin was cute, clean, and cozy. Food was great. Loved it and will return. Perfect for some couple alone time. Breakfast and dinner included, brought up some munchies for in the cabin. Fridge and kettle provided.

We went to this lodge with an open mind, after reading both positive and negative reviews (we usually dismiss 1st time reviewers either way as it may not be representative of a regular traveller). First off, we picked Adventure Lodge after searching for a pet friendly getaway for a weekend. My wife and I have stressful jobs and we just... More

We stayed here for two nights and while the cabin was quite nice, it was the little details that made this place only average. The first dinner seemed to consist of frozen stuffed chicken that was taken from a box and put in the oven and then covered with gravy. The second dinner was a small pork chop and some... More

I have to be honest. We travelled to Adventure Lodge in March. We arrived around !pm a little early, but not a problem we had our sleds. Ken was very apologetic that the cabin was not ready... Not sure what the problem was from what was said they hadn't been completely booked?? Any how by the time we were ready... More

What a wonderful place to stay for relaxation and fun! My husband and I met up with two other couples and we all agree that it was money well spent. The cabins were cozy and clean, the food was 10+ and Ken and Penny were friendly and very hospitable. We can't wait to go back again!
