Our room reeked with smoke smell, we got a second room and it was Ok but the hairdryer doesn’t work, they give you a pot to heat water and two mugs but there is no tea or coffee offered. The AC barely worked, the room was very hot, musty and humid. We ordered room service and an hour later we called them and they said ooops we didn’t make your meals.. what???? Also the hot springs area could use some clean up from the debris and mud everywhere. Lastly the hot pool was very dirty, as you walk around in the pool, you can feel sandy floors and see dirty pool floor. The scenery is beautiful and the breakfast was Good.

A place with great potential, and must have been glorious some years ago, but is falling apart in all senses of the word. Everything is very dirty Total lack of maintenance Poor service, We were given a room with dirty floor, dirty table, looked as if somebody had been resting on top of the bed, and no towels. The new room was also not very clean. 2 swimming pools, both dirty. Spa needing major upkeep. And the list could go on. The breakfast was ok, but if everything you can see is fithy, it is better no to think about the state of the kitchens. The public hot pools were fun, and very hot! Not worth making the trip out there if you are short of time, and a 1 hour visit is enough. Avoid the hotel

Great setting and luxury / 4 star plus decor. Hot springs are great but let down by poor service and attention to detail. From my stay Pros: + Hot springs + Rooms and hotel ground lovely Cons: - Struggled to locate booking from hotels.com made and confirmed over a month ago. - Only given two small plastic bottles of water for room which weren’t changed whenever the room was made up (not great for supposed 5 stars) - Whenever we ordered soft drinks they were warm. - No towels given to us for our second day - Food was below par however they did give us free ice cream when we returned a dish. - On our final night we wanted to eat a la carte and were pressured in to their 25 dinar buffet. It felt like the staff couldn’t be bothered to serve us. -There was a 4 hour power cut in the middle of the afternoon which meant the room had no lights or air con on the hottest day of the year. No updates in the day had to keep phoning and when we complained they said it was just the energy companies fault. A real star resort would have offered some sort of complimentary refreshments or updated the guests. - Whenever we ordered anything at dinner it took ages for it to be brought over. - Ordered room service and was given an undercooked (seemingly shop bought pizza) and warm soft drinks again. - no effort made to make the holiday special - staff don’t give particularly good service and missing the attention to detail of a real 5 star resort

The resort is in an amazing location, which is actually the best part of the resort itself. We had 2 rooms for only one night! As soon as we entered the room towels were not there, in a double room only one towel in the single 0 towels, so we asked reception to bring them in, they were very fast but anyways not a good 1st impression. Apart from this, the hotel was average. It is old and not very well cleaned. There were many small details that are important in a five star hotel that were not taken care of; bathroom was not cleaned well, hairs from previous guests in the shower, the toilet itself had a missing piece and outside the room there is a balcony completely full of pigeons’s poop… I know it might be difficult but at least try to clean it because was the same outside the balcony of the restaurant. Food was very good! Nice variety and display also the drinks we took at the bar in the afternoon. Staff very nice and polite, but during COVID they could have done a really big refresh of the hotel itself… We were fine but just because was one night… really need to change the interior design and push on the cleaning part, doesn’t matter if the location is stunning but this are major details that need attention.

The hot springs at night were very relaxing and definitely worth one night's stay. The bar had a very nice ambience and much nicer than the buffet dinner. The breakfast buffet was the best we’ve had in Jordan. The hotel staff were very good throughout. The room had a good view but was very tired and needed updating. Based on the room we would only recommend 1 night but if updated then a couple of nights would be recommended

The waterfalls and the nature is amazing but the hotel was not a good experience. Rooms are not very clean. When we requested for towels and slippers they didn't respond us even we called three times. Housekeeping is not working very well. Lack of coordination between the stuff and the administration. Cascade spa was a good experience, recommended.

Stayed here 4 nights. Positives- the environment and natural beauty of the location and the waterfall. The massage and spa was also amazing. Would maybe recommend staying here one night- no more. Negatives- staying for longer than 1 night the faults of the hotel and service become very noticeable and are actually very embarrassing for a 5* hotel. Everyone smiles and says hello but no one seems to know how to run a 5* hotel properly or have any personality. To point out a few things: -Since day one the room was not cleaned properly- the floor was dirty from the people before. I asked multiple times for it to be cleaned and it was only after a sandstorm blew through a broken window and my fiancé was hysterical that they cleaned it properly on day 3. -by the pool area was not cleaned properly. There was old fruit that had been there for days attracting swarms of flies making it unpleasant and unbearable to sit there. -I had a shower one day and realised and no replacement towels were in the room and they had taken all the old towels. I informed reception and sat drip drying for an hour waiting for someone to deliver towels -I asked for a taxi service multiple times from reception and they were unable to help at all. Absolutely disgraceful. I ended up arranging my own which was stressful and challenging. -our keys stopped working on Friday as we were accidentally checked out. A small point in a list of comical errors. -on day one we were given a single bed duvet for a king size bed. This was fixed the next day when we told them, but again, comical from a supposedly 5* hotel -parts of the room were broken. Toilet broken, shutters broken, wood snapped off parts of furniture etc. A cupboard door fell off in the bathroom landing and injuring my fiancés toe one day. -we got engaged on Thursday at the Dead Sea, we informed staff and no one cared or had any interest. Our engagement was amazing luckily, and the hot springs are beautiful. It is really a shame the hotel and the service were so poor.

We have no words to explain how magical it was. The location is breathtaking, the staff is AMAZINGLY NICE KIND. We reached the hotel and they immediately took care of us, our room was ready and our luggage in the room. The room has a fabulous view in the mountains you can see the waterfall from the room. Rooms are clean, perfect side. Special thanks to ZIAD & FARES, who took care of us and gave us so many advise to make our stay memorable. We booked a massage and buddy wrap at the SPA: WAWWWW, fabulous experience. Above our expectation: the spa is located in another building with a private waterfall pool . The staff is just amazing . They are kind, super professional . The quality of the massage is super high. You can enjoy the private pool while waiting for your massage, or after your massage. They will offer you tea, juices, amazing dates and nuts: one of the best spa ever ! Special thanks to Mohamed (the two Mohamed) from the Spa who have been amazingly nice with us . Thank you so much for your warm welcomed, and kind attention. Honestly, if you visit Jordan and don’t go to Ma’in Hot Springs, don’t go to Jordan ! Thanks thanks thanks

A friend and me booked one night at the hotel over booking.com. We mainly were looking for a good deal to relax and because there was a good offer including breakfast we chose Main springs. Upon arrival we were told that there is no breakfast included even though it was clearly stated on the offer and our booking confirmation. The staff was not willing to compensate or did not put any effort for us and even complained about booking.com. when contacting booking.com, we were told that since they are an intermediary they cannot help us - we should resolve this issue with the hotel. We were disappointed by how the hotel reacted to out complaints and how they handled the situation. Apart from this, the hotel was average. It is old and not very well preserved. There were many small details that are important in a five star hotel that were not taken care of. (tv controller was broken, bathroom was not cleaned well, toilet had a missing piece, room service took over 1.5 hours, service staff was not friendly, pool was closed - was not mentioned.)

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been! Highly recommended! The staff couldn’t be better. The location is perfect, pure paradise! The water in the swimming pool is so warm and relaxing! Dinner was very good. Breakfast was delicious and we could have it outside, with a view. The hotel itself is awesome, very comfortable, clean, cozy… the decoration is very nice, mostly wood, local carpets… I would love to return!
