Many of the basic services were not offered or are lacking. the area is very hot and there is only 1 bottle of complementary water for the room. there is no water offered in the lobby or even in the gym. You can only get water by purchasing it at the restaurant for resturant price. The wifi is terrible. Only certain floors have there own wifi. I stayed on the fifth floor and had to connect to either 3rd floor wifi or 7th floor wifi. Both had only 1 bar. there are no local areas in sight and dinner is not included. The only thing I would say that was nice is the staff that helped carry the bags and the ones that clean the room. I dont understand how this place can be considered a 5 star resort.

Our first stop in Jordan and it almost ruined our trip. At check in they stopped helping use and took the next three guests. Unknown reason provided for the wait. The worst service that I’ve had in my travels. Attempted feedback with the manager, Tamer, but was not receptive to feedback. The buffet was great but the entire resort need updating. Location is great and this place has so much potential it was just so disappointing.

Very disappointing stay in Ma'in Hot Spring resort, where to start... This is a 5 star hotel so we had some expectations after 5 nights in camps, but we found an old hotel with careless staff resulting in dirty rooms (found dead mosquitoes, used earbuds on the floor...) and poor service (no info on closed swimming pool, bed linen not matching bed size, no towels...). The hot spring pool is unique but doesn't allow for 3 yo to swim (42°C water temperature). This hotel needs a serious change in management to reach the service matching the room price.

My question is: do I come for the Hot Springs Spa and things don't work out? Good structure but poorly managed, on my arrival the room was not ready and at check in they did not find the reservation. we arrived at 3.15pm and they only gave us the room at 4.30pm. We had booked 2 massages for two consecutive days, one at 5pm but the SPA could not find the reservations. luckily they made us a new reservation at the SPA at 17, But separately with my husband moved to 18:30, and the subsequent massages on the day after at 15, therefore forced to change our travel itinerary, the waterfall and the pool of the SPA were dirty, the next day at 4pm, once our treatment was finished the pool and the "waterfall" was closed. It was full of foam and no water came out from the waterfall, it is also possible that it is induced water and not really from a spring! Wali, Sara, serious and professional masseuses, certainly valid despite the intense season, perhaps they were just very tired, but they proved their worth. My large suite was not cleaned, I had to ask for towels and bathrobes. the only thing that worked is the mini car assistants for getting around the big resort, secure parking and getting around the resorts etc... Good buffet dinner with plenty of choice. but they stressed us out by constantly asking +5 times for our room number. good breakfast, lots of variety. the price of the buffet for 2 people 50 JOD, one hour of massage 90/100 JOD. The hotel has a SPA (separate from the hotel) and they were kind but the whole structure is not clean, in the hotel itself it is dirty and there is little attentive staff at the reception. 2 + 2 massages 450 € and non-functioning waterfall in the private spa are not acceptable. The spa service is great, considering the professional staff, but do I come from the other side of the planet to relax in the waterfall pool? Or not???? Or maybe I better stay home and avoid Jordan next time? As this Ma’in Hot Spa Hotel it was born as a wellness center, the whole services must workout! and that was not the case! poor! The Hotel bring money from visitors daily entrance 15jod and clients who sleep and overnight are not pleased to stay here overcrowded, forced to go at Waterfall from 6 to 9am, when is not open to public. I will not come again even for free. Promised!

It is so easy to only look at only the negatives. Ask yourself why is this most beautiful and once luxurious hotel neglected in some areas. Once a hotel has been brought by a corporation, then the people within the corporation will be holding out their hands once a month to collect their dividends, not leaving enough money in the pot for anything else. You have to understand that the management are given a small budget to work with , out of that they have to, pay the hotel food for guests towels, and linen cleaning maintenance, staff, wages etc etc. The staff I met and spoke with where all absolutely amazing and welcoming, Doing the best they could in the circumstances. Before giving negative reviews, think about the reasons, I would 100 % stay here again, my surroundings where sublime the food amazing and my hotel room was spectacular, the thermal pools hot. Really could do with getting the cool pool side showers working. Thank you to each and every member of staff, I applaud you for your magnificent dedication & service. To the corporation, read the bad reviews you are receiving , renovate your asset and the rewards will follow. The hotel could and should once again be magnificent.

Awful on almost all fronts. The corridors and lifts come from the set of a bad horror movie. Everything that can be shabby or broken is shabby or broken or both. Flies make sitting by the pool intolerable. Our room’s aircon was broken and the lugubrious ill-made dark wood fittings made it all the more depressing. We made a ghastly mistake in having the a la carte dinner instead of the buffet. The starters were a reasonable approximation of hummus etc. But the main courses were close to uneatable. Worst, we were charged over £20 just for two juices, a green salad and a bottle of mineral water. Stupid and greedy. The main hot springs experience (up the road from the hotel itself) is good once you’re in the water and not pondering the poorly maintained surroundings. In short, avoid this wretched hotel. Book a day trip to the hot springs, have a steamy splash, then retreat. You’ll save a LOT of money and not get infuriated.

This hotel is amazing, beautiful located and luxuous. There is a private warm water pool with waterfall! It was ok to be in bikini there. In winter the other public waterfalls are less busy (with men) so this was ideal and we recommend to go there at night time, lay in warm water to watch the stars. The staff was helpful and friendly. We got engaged at the waterfall and they even provided us with a free desert at diner, very nice and appreciated!! Great stay and we will come back!

Location is amazing, receptionist staff and management especially Mr. Bassam, Mrs. Lubna and Mr. Faris are professional and friendly. Moreover, Mr. Omar the room service is very friendly who did a good effort o serve us and make us happy. The chef and restaurant staff are friendly too. However, we didn’t enjoy our stay due to the following: -Poor building and rooms maintenance where wood curtains are broken, spider nets everywhere, mattress are not comfortable, shower head musty, water heater was closed first night, the morning shift manager of restaurant is very aggressive and ignored us while we were talking with him he left us noting that he did not have a name pin. -there is no control from hotel management in guests behavior where we faced many issues with guests noting that the area is a relaxation and meditation therefore, it shall be quiet with strong instructions to keep all visitors happy - the most horrible thing that nobody informed us about hot springs instructions although we requested a golf car from reception, however, warning signage of preventing diabetics, heart and high blood pressure patients should not enter hot spring therefore, our mam had heart attack when we reach their. I used to stay there before 2018, where everything was perfect and amazing during that time

A disastrous end to a fabulous tour of Jordan. This resort is tired and creaking. Check in was a joke. Couldn’t get the type of room booked. 2 hours before we got to room. No robes. Left overs from last guests still in the room. Service from reception was surly and unfriendly. Took three requests to get robes, hand towels and tea bags. On the up side, the food was great. Service in the bar area was super. We found that the a la carte menu was better value than the buffet option. It’s a pity that so many things went wrong. This place needs a good dose of investment and a refurbishment on building and service levels
