This small inn has really lovely atmosphere, there is no reason to complain, just one - the smell from kitchen is very strong in the whole building and in the room. If you will have luck and get bigger room, there will not be any other reason to complain. Perfect breakfast, friendly staff, strong wifi, delicious food in the restaurant... More

Lovely big family room was the only room left when we booked. It was very comfortable and we were grateful for the Inn's welcoming attitude to dogs. Our wee terrier came with us to the pub for dinner, which was delicious and of a high standard. Try the Cullen Skink - it is gorgeous. The kitchen kindly accommodated our special... More

We spent two nights at the Plockton Inn. We were in the family room on the main level. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The staff are very friendly and helpful with advice for the area. We spent some time at the pub and also ate dinner at the restaurant. Food was great and service was friendly and attentive. Fresh local... More

Bathroom in room 8 considered poor, hand basin too small and almost no place to locate toiletries. Lever, door handle would be an improvement. Parking is a free for all, however, we managed to find a place when necessary. Harbour view and Callum's sea trip were excellent. Folk Music night was far too noisy with chatter, difficult to appreciate music... More

Worth the off the beaten path drive for a wonderful lunch. Stopped on our way to Portree. Drive was complete with Highland Cows at the road. Chicken Curry was delicious. Ice cream and whiskey dessert was AMAZING! Quaint, small town and nice variety for meals.

4 of us visited Plockton for lunch on the train. After a wee walk we chose the Inn for lunch and we were not disappointed. The Cullen skink was tremendous. Had fish and chips for main and it was beautifully fresh. The only minor thing was that the chips were not homemade. One of our party had the prawns and... More

Dinner here was very enjoyable. Busy evening. Service friendly and quick. Amazing fresh local seafood platter....clams, oysters, mussels, smoked salmon and more. Nice seafood chowder. Well cooked scollops. Deserts of cheesecake and sticky date pudding disappeared quickly. Would eat here again.

We had a lovely lunch at the inn of fresh local seafood. It would have been nicer to have table service - we had to order at the bar. We had a platter of warm prawns with garlic butter and an entree seafood platter. The food was fresh and delicious although a little too heavy on the smoked seafood on... More
